I want to tell you about my experience with black hair. I am a temporary foster mom with white girl straight red hair. One of my kids came to me and had 4c hair. One of the African American women I go to church with came to me and asked me if I wanted help with the little girls black hair. They told me to watch you and what product to use. The little girl is now gone to a permanent place , but it was fun learning how to work with black hair. I will always love my friends and you for your help.

One hairdresser told me that she was scared of combing my hair, that she didn't expect it to be so easy. I always detangle my hair before going to their salon and I even comb it before re entering the place. It's too much of a hassle. It's her job!
@lamoskgr
@lamoskgr 4 жыл бұрын
@Welcome's House I understand that. That's why I detangle it before going there. What I find disrespect are the looks she gives my hair like it's a hustle. I went there two years ago and las month I tried a White hairdresser and she treated my hair with to much care and respect, I started crying.

I'm glad you spoke on being natural & using heat. I feel like with my hair, I've been natural for 15 years now, my hair did better when I was wearing it blow dried/straight. Now that I'm not using any heat & more natural hairstyles (braid/twist outs) it feels like my hair is just doing ok. Length is there, however, it's thinning. It used to be really thick & now not so much. I love a good Bob hairstyle. It's such a classic & timeless hairstyle. I Love your content & I'm a NEW Subbie
