I'm an older 50+ white male and watched one of your other videos where woman hadn't combed hair since summer of 2020 and was totally enthralled. The transformation made her look 20 years younger. Now I get more of your videos "recommended" to me, and they are absolutely astonishing! Great work and much respect for the work you do saving these women's locks.

There are many reasons! Personally, I like to see this kind of change/transformation videos (especially hair or make-up). I really like to see any type of hair and any style, no matter if it doesn't work for me. I even see male transformations and from different countries with different beauty standards. I love to see the change and people faces after :) At the same time, I learn a lot about hair and beauty! So there is a lot of reasons! ^^ Thanks for these videos!! PD: Sorry if I don't explain well, English is not my first language ^^i

I have only had my hair straightened once at a salon (well...without it being from a relaxer. I had gone natural though during this time). My hair is short and thin but I was so impressed that she managed to get my hair so much straighter than I have ever been able to (without using a relaxer) that I squealed like a kid, lol! I felt like an idiot and maybe it wasn't anything special in her eyes but it meant the world to me, so I know how you feel :)

“Broken crayons still colour”. Wow. I needed to hear this so much. I have several chronic illnesses from a genetic disorder I didn’t know I had until after I had my two children. It involves severe pain and fatigue. I always feel broken and useless, like I’m much less of a person, especially a mom. I need to realize that I can still “colour” even though my body is not what it was and not what I expected it to be at my age. Thank you for that :) ❤

I know what you mean about a good shampoo at a salon! Back in the day when I was in cosmetology school, I had a teacher come in for a manicure and facial. I finished his manicure and gotten to the part of the facial where I began the scalp manipulations, this man conked out in the middle of scalp treatment while he was talking! The look on Melissa's face after her cut was pure JOY! Having a good stylist that gives you advise and great work is power for them and you as well. I've had 4 and it isn't easy finding them! My hair has been with me through EVERYTHING, and now it's time to let it go like I did with my past. Anyway, I love the cut!! It looks great on you. The stylist did the damn thing!!

Ladies, this Sister's hands are truly blessed! Whenever I can look at her videos and just by the way this Sister gently cares for her clients' hair, is like I'm receiving "relaxation" therapy! Honestly, every time I watch this Sister's videos, I become so relaxed. Does anyone experience this? Maybe it's just me! Another awesome video, Deeper Than Hair TV. God has definitely blessed your hands! Lord knows, if you were blessing my "crown" (hair), I would definitely be snoring and sleeping in your chair! LOL!

I loved what you said about people getting their hair cut because they wanted to rather than needing to. I went into the salon a few months ago with my hair down to my knees and got 34 inches cut off and the stylist kept asking me "are you sure?" I always say it's just hair and my favorite part about donating my hair is that I get a different pixie cut every time. I love your advice, your vibe and these videos so much. Thank you!

AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A… Yes. I hope you find someone as skilled , experienced, and knowledgeable as she is. I was hooked from the moment I watched her wash the hair correctly, unfortunately many people cause the hair to tangle more by rubbing and ruffling the hair shafts. She really knows her stuff. From start to finish the hair was treated with the gentleness c type hair requires. The result is beautiful the hair will stay healthy.

Like some of the other commenters below I am also an old white lady with absolutely straight fine hair but I have always wanted to watch how tight curly hair is cared for. I use way more Brilliant Shine than recommended , but my hair loves it and holds way better/longer! Also, sometimes a woman wants to get rid of the length when they were with someone who was obsessed with their length and now they want something new! This man told me that women are supposed to have long (real) hair and men are supposed to have short hair. I was like, “Someone really screwed you up!” 🤦🏽‍♀️

Sounds like they had an Apostolic Pentecostal background. We follow the scripture about it being a sha my e for a woman to have short hair and men to have long hair. That's why I was so upset when mine was badly damaged and falling out several years ago due to double surgeries in a months time, pain meds, etc. Thankfully I am cancer free now and my hair is healthy and growing, back to my shoulder blades and still growing. Yes, I understand that black hair is different than my Caucasian hair and that not all Apostolic churches, especially the black ones are as strict about us women not cutting our hair. I do trim mine if the ends get too frizzy

Honey only a BM is saying that to a bw! It’s sad. They shld embrace our natural hair at any length and texture and stop putting Eurocentric standards on our hair. Modern life is the only reason we can even have long loose natural hair cause it’s not realistic to maintain. It’s very time intensive, expensive and tends to break with too much manipulation. If men had to deal w very long natural hair everyday they wldnt for very long. Our hair maintains better braided, loc Ed or twisted! (Coming from a woman w bra length, loose natural hair). Our hair naturally wants to loc! Finally the men never admit that their fixation on our hair is their sexual fantasy. They’d have you breaking your neck wearing ankle length hair if you let them. I think it’s reasonable to consider a HUSBAND (not partner) feelings but also make yourself happy. Don’t torture yourself for the male gaze. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm the opposite lol. My hair got badly damaged several years ago due to serious medical issues, plus I lost about 30% of it. It's down to my shoulder blades now and thicker than it's been in years. I am a Caucasian Apostolic Pentecostal lady, and my hair is so important to me, trying to get it to grow and "look Pentecostal" now that I am cancer free.
