@@500dollarjapanesetoaster8 I do neither. I have a television to watch my old movies on disc/blue ray/ video. No Tik Toc. . YT you can listen to most streams while doing other things, others you need to watch for the demonstrations such as Danny and Wanda and several others. Many of the vlogs on YT are fairly short. I could watch them and pause them depending on the needs and level,of confusion my elderly mother with dementia had. 8 years caring for her, 5 difficult and the last was the worst. No pity. Just honoring her life by caring for her. AKA honoring your parents.

My Uncle had a primitive corn sheller. He invited us kids to the farm in the summer and we’d shell the corn for him!!Not as meticulous as you do Danny!! I don’t recall how it was dried, nor what he did with it after it was shelled! All of his cobs were red, this was in the 50’s. We had great fun throwing the cobs at one another when we’d finish!

I had several ears of corn to shell last year. I can't imagine how painful that will be when you get done. I planted some more corn this year rather late but neighbors farmer put in corn (gmo) so I didn't want them to cross pollination. Also I don't know if I can get any corn from you all or not. Finished reading " 1 Second After " book. I'm going OK OK. Need to get moving around the homestead again. Start building things that will be beneficial to everyone 1 way or another.

I thank you for doing this and sharing your corn genetics with your subscribers! ESPECIALLY with kidney stones! I've experienced just one in my life, (God willing) It was the size of a pea and I had to have 3 lithotrypsies (ultrasound) to blow it up! You have to pass the fragments of the stone naturally, and let's just say that was a LCE! I haven't drank soda since and drink water most of the time. Yet again, thank y'all for the Danny corn. I intend to grow it for everyone I can. People and nature alike.

I also had bad times with kidney stones and have had one they had to go get because it had hung up between my kidney and bladder. Talk about pain. I only drink about two sodas a month instead of 6 a day. I drink mostly water except for my morning coffee. No stone now!!

Thanks for showing us the process you go through for seed saving the Danny corn. I let a few onions go a second year so they would go to seed. I've never done onions before. So easy. They dried right there on the plant; they're just waiting patiently for me to plant them this fall. See, I listened...and saved my own seeds! 🌱 Everyone...have a great week!

A neighbor, now deceased, grew up in the country in south AR. She told me they grew a field corn called Schooley corn. Not certain of the spelling, but it sounded like school -ee. I have never heard of that name before. Have you ever heard of it? It could have been a local name that came from a family named Schooley, and was actually another variety of corn.

I planted my 2016 Danny corn for the first time last year. I got the most beautiful deep red corn I have ever seen. I planted it again this year, and I’m waiting for it to finish growing. They are the tallest stalks I have ever seen!!! Wind took down half my corn, but it’s still tryin to reach up. Y’all get you some Danny corn when it hits the Etsy shop. It’s a great corn to grow.

The 'Danny' corn I grew, I shucked it the same way you showed. Much easier than any other way I have found. After a cob or two, you can get fast at it. I am still interested in the sweat potato slips. Due to the heat and lack of rain all mine, I bought locally were lost. My red potato's all died out but the white ones are doing OK.

Hello Danny. I'm glad you shared about how to use the corn cob. I didn't know that and I'm going to remember this to put it into practice. You truly have been blessed with some wonderful corn. Praise God! I really like the dryers you made for the corn. It's a good idea that they corn is inside drying with no humidity and will save you time. I hope I'm able to buy some if possible since it is fist come first serve. I know you two are doing your best to bless everyone as much as you can. I'm so thankful that kidney stones has passed and continuing to pray for it to pass from your body. God is a mighty God and does answer the prayers of His people. Continued prayer also for both you and Wanda's well being and overall health and ability to do what is needed. You two have a lot on your plate every day. Rich blessings to you both from our heavenly Father.

Thank you Mr Danny for taking the time to explain and teach how to seed save corn. I took have kidney stone issues and have researched and utilized natural way to keep it at bay. First, stay hydrated. I've found that asparagus will dissolve the stone(s) so that it can be passed relatively easy and keeps uti's under control. I dry asparagus to chew if fresh is unavailable and also make soup to freeze in packets and can. This works fast. I get results within around 24 hours if it's problematic but if you eat some on a regular basis you can keep it from being a problem that's debilitating. God bless you and Miss Wanda.

I really enjoyed the video and lots of really great information ! Before you said something I was going to ask about the red cob being bred into your corn . If you would ever like to grow some of my corn I would send you some seed . I used your advice on sweet potatoes keeping the vines moved into the rows to fill that in first . This is my second time ever growing them because I just started liking the taste a few years ago . I have had kidney stones a few times myself and it's no joke . I'm glad you're feeling better and thanks for sharing !
