The devil has his ways of using human EGO to instal misunderstandings like being racist, hate remarks, spreading lies. And the evidence is the media and newspapers. Also David Icke interviews are very interesting. His account got deleted for a reason he talks about the things which are hidden from humans, how and why 9/11 And Princess Diana was killed and other theories explained in his books and interviews.

I used to ask my grandfather about the Great Depression and what it was like to live through it. He always said that folks out in the country didn't much know or care on way or the other. They were that self sufficient. I think we are fixing to go through something as bad or worse with the exception that your government won't have a new deal cause they're the reason for it and don't care about anything about anything but their own selfish agenda. Folks are going to have a hard time when this economy crashes. People lack the skills and knowledge to fend for themselves. Thanks Danny. You speak truth. Those that have ears. Let them hear.

Thanks for this. The media, computer, phones..... all a distraction from having the kind of relationship with the Lord that we are gonna need to get through what’s coming. The Lord keeps reminding me to lay it down and concentrate on Him and His word. Also, to take the time we have to enjoy each day we still have freedom. To enjoy the beauty of His creation, to enjoy our families and pets. Looking at, and fretting over what’s happening won’t change it. However, focusing on Him will change us and help us better enjoy today, and prepare us for tomorrow.

Being rich is having peace. Peace means comfort, fewer worries and anxiety. Wealth comes not in money, but in not owing other people. Leases on cars, credit card bills, creditors biting at your heels, too-high rent or mortgage, etc. all destroy your peace. Every day you are running away from that vacuum that threatens to eat you alive. You cannot sleep, and the first thing you think about when you get up in the morning after a restless night is how you are going to pay this or that. Or whether you will lose your home, your car or even your spouse because you fight over money all the time. Giving it all up in pursuit of getting your peace is worth it. It may feel like running through the fire, but when you come out the other side, it is indescribable. I went through that once in my 50's and again in my 60's. I am now at peace. It's not how hard I worked as much as how hard I worked at saving money and investing it in a couple of double rentals. I am alone, and just wanted enough to get me through retirement in peace. Sometimes we have to walk through chaos and stress before we "get it."
@tbear4557

Yes the weather is strange. 1 week ago we had 3 feet of snow on the ground. Today, nothing but small piles from the plows. 60's are in the forecast for next week. I'm retiring at 62, I can't wait any longer. I really don't even want to wait those 2 years. I need to get out of here into the country again. Everywhere I go, people are just miserable, and most have attitudes. I have been preparing as best as I can. It is hard though when you live in a tax heavy state. Cost of living is extremely high. I don't care if I'm dirt poor when I retire, I'll be happy.

Love your porch times. Townsends is a great resource for how those people lived and he is in the process of hand building (just like they did) a cabin from the land and a huge 'community' oven outside and a place under some cover to work on the food. It is fascinating to watch. His store also has books written in the 17 and 1800s. Thank you, I am moving my main meal to early afternoon and supping after that with my chicken broth or veggie broth - Will see how it works. My granny - born in the mid 1800s and she had the MAIN meal ready for when the 'men' came in from feeding the animals and taking care of things outside. (yes, the sexes had different chores). That food that she had ready including a huge amount of food (roasts, pies, side dishes, etc.) lasted for the day. And, she had the pitcher next to your bed filled with hot water for you to wash up when I visited.

One of my yt subscriptions that is a homestead family came on this morning to say their family was hit by a drunk driver the night before Valentine’s Day, killed the father instantly, mom almost, two children greatly harmed and with relatives now. Last night I was very close to being pulled right in front of, I slammed and I mean slammed on my breaks and veered hard and the truck didn’t even tap his breaks. A lot of perspective today plus what Danny has said. Thank God we moved to a small acreage a couple months ago and are putting in infrastructure to grow and raise and breed basic poultry. It will be a long haul. I have a very very strong feeing that I won’t be here much longer, I don’t know why. But I feel that I have pushed us into this- and I did, everyone opposed it, but I insisted this was the only option. We had to start getting ready. My kids are small town city people. If something happens to me my townie husband and kids will at least be able to grow food and have poultry. None of us know how long we have here. I want the people I will leave to be prepared.

No matter what kind of work/chore he was doing, he would make it great fun and interesting for his grandchildren. We just pulled out our pellet stove (doesn't work when power's off), and ordered a wood stove. Both sets of my grand parents were "breakfast, dinner, supper" people. I'm kind of a "breakfast, lunch, supper" guy. Give our best to Wanda. You guys are our kind of people. If we lived in the same locality -- (we're in Western Colorado close to the Utah border) -- we'd undoubtedly be good friends. Gonna go check out Wanda's chicken wing canning video. Cheers!

They hunted, preserved foods, helped the local native Americans during the winter etc. They moved to the San Francisco Bay area when their youngest child was about 9 years old for health reasons. That's only about 100 years ago so I'm confident I can live that way again. It's sort of like camping full time. Knowledge and skills are key to success

Amen! Too many people do not realize that living the dream takes effort. It is something you have to work towards on a daily basis. The work is not always easy, but it will be worth it in the end. That is no different than making the daily choice to follow Christ Jesus. It’s not always easy to be an heir to Christ in this world. There are many things that can pull you away, such as politics or the entertainment industry or even friends who do not walk the narrow path that leads to Heaven. All of the work now will be worth it in the end. Live peacefully set apart from the noise of the chaotic world and work towards your own dream with the comfort and strength that comes from the Lord. The seeds didn’t wash away and they are coming up! The rain we’ve gotten for the last day has been heavy but not as heavy as the last round. Fingers crossed and prayers that y’all get some soon!❤️

Oh my goodness. If I could package some of this rain I would be more than willing to send you some. We can't plant our potatoes in the mud-hole we call a garden. Our cold crops have rotted in the ground. We've been trying to mitigate the standing water issues with little success. Thank God we've been preparing for this for a long time. We have plenty of stored food and hopefully we will have some success over the next few months. We haven't seen sun for the past 2 weeks, however, praise God we have sun today. Mr. Danny, thank you so much for all the information and thank you for turning us on to David D's channel, it's helped immensely. Blessing to you and Miss Wanda as always.

Thank your first your insight, encouragement and wisdom. I do think you’d be surprised how many people have actually pulled away from mainstream society, turned off the news and are living their dream. The difference is, we don’t have a public forum on which we can share our lives. Some dreams are early retirement, mortgage free home, cars, no bills and prepped for whatever. I’m one of them. You’ve done a commendable job of managing, but there are many others, striving to do their very best to survive in this nutty society.

I feel the same way Danny. I don't watch the news or TV either. It is nothing but hatred and evil. I choose to have joy and peace in my life. I get up and read or crochet and spend my day working in my yard or something that relaxes me.

It's all about priorities, many of the things peple have are revolved around " I have to have it to work" new vehicle, cell phone, lunch money, special clothing and shoes, insurance and upkeep on the vehicle, etc... If you take that work out of the equation you can boil it down to the brass tacks of where you are comfortable. Our comfortable level of bills is around 500 a month, taxes, power, internet, phones, and insurance. Then we put everything else into the homestead so we will be more comfortable when we stop paying those. We are already in one of the scenarios we have benn planning for and in a LCE/SHTF even a slow motion one the rule is USE EVERY AVAILABLE RESOURCE TO SURVIVE

Your getaway cabin is your sanctuary. Each person needs that place, even if it is as small as a prayer closet. You are my source of news because I don't tune into it anywhere. But your learning about life in the 1700 and 1800s does interest me. Thanks for sharing.
