I think individual mobs should've been what's difficult about pve, kinda like Maestro when the boss first dropped (not that every mob should be as hard as him), maybe not mobs but at least bosses, they should be a lot harder, the way pve is is really just going on an really strong high dvm build and m1 m1 m1ing whatever until it dies, little to no skill involved pve shouldn't have ever been like that imo, should've been more like actual souls like bosses where they have so many moves you have to keep up with but I doubt that'd ever even happen anyway

the problem with balancing that out comes down to pve vs pvp. the developers want to make a boss accessible for pvp builds because you shouldn't need to spend a slot just to be able to fight it, but on the other hand, bosses like primadon become inconsequential to pve builds because they can kill it within a minute of it spawning in. it's a difficult thing to balance and hard to say where to draw the line. especially since power creep is a thing.

@@horae6528 I think dvm should be removed at least have a cap of lile 25 or something, it genuinely serves no purpose in the game other than for making pve builds, there shouldn't really be any reason to dedicate an entire build just to killing monsters

i get the idea but also the gigameds were removed from hellmode because if 3-4 of them spawned they would fully infinite combo you with actually zero counterplay because of the lightning stun (which you still dont have an immunity window to like thunder mobs because it isnt them being attuned, its an innate property of the moves) also king threshers cant be corrupted in hellmode (idk what exactly the reasoning is but its probably something to do with the dig) imo either make gigamed thunder stun have an immunity timer like thunder attuned mobs, or keep them out of hell mode, let king threshers be corrupted again, and then make the “this mob cant be corrupted because its too op” apply to broodlords instead (the purpose of them was to make pve harder by nullifying healthpacks, but having more than 2 of them on you in a hellmode means you are wiping because they can nearly infinite combo with the knockdown and then also the antiheal + more health than some bosses means you arent out dpsing them)

the way the shadow and gale weapon are event based things i was server hopping a lot and i even got an astral before the gale weapon

Do NOT server hop for the gale weapon, the event spawns right on top of you given a short time, just wait it out.

They should rework the corrupted monster bell, it was semi important back pre layer 2 and now nobody even goes that way, only to get to diluvian. Hell corrupted mobs dont even make things harder atp only for low levels and if there are like 20 bigger ones or broodlords on you, they could rework it in one way or another or just remove it.

are you joking? literally every reason you said its fun is what's preventing someone like me from playing hellmode and diluvian in the first place. I'm not making a bullshit PvE build that takes zero skill to use that one shots every mob, and i don't even have enough freinds to start hellmode in the first place. Make it instanced, tone down dvm and pve builds, make it doable on a pvp build (or just, NOT hyperspecific pve build) if you are good at the game.

what you’re asking is way less reasonable. Endgame PVE content difficulty should be catered towards PVE builds. The alternative would be nerfing the shit out of all PVE builds to make it so normal builds can compete with them, which is stupid considering the main appeal of deepwoken at this point of its lifespan is buildmaking.

@@kirbycoolguy1918 This argument just ain't it, You can literally make the same argument for brain dead PvP builds that are just Insane minmax movestacking and say it's not any skill cuz the whole literal build is built around being good at pvp. Nobody would make PvE builds if you could just straight up do all the content on a PvP build.

@@northwindonline6344 pvp is alot different to pve. If the game wasn't horribly unbalanced like how it is atm, then the point that it is brain dead or skilless wouldn't apply because you are always going up against someone who can parry your moves and is somewhat equal to you in terms of power. Pve is braindead because it's just a stat check where you spam m1 until the other thing dies. Pve on a pvp built doesn't let you stat check monsters, you actually need to pay attention to their attack patterns and parry (Atleaat that's what it should be.).
