I make 4 of these for a deer blind. Just used some scrap pieces and screen material.

Would your recommend putting the vents at bottom or top of walls of the blind? Thanks for all the helpful tips.

I prefer to put them up high. I think it's more likely to let moist air out and also it's colder down by the floor already (here in WI). If you're in the south, putting one low on one side and one high on the other side might be a good way to go.

How many do you put in your blinds? I’m building an 8x8. Thinking about how many to put in. Thanks!

I prefer to have two in all, on opposite sides.

Hey Brett, love your videos. Do you have any suggestions for building a blind with sealed windows? I live in hill country and the winds are extremely unpredictable. If I could build a completely sealed blind, it would be extremely beneficial.

I'd suggest going with cheap vinyl sliders from your nearest home center or check out deerview windows, original deer blind windows or kudu outdoor products, all are custom deer blind window manufacturers. There are many wall materials to build your blind with. Taking the time to make good cuts helps. Caulking is cheap and effective for helping keep the elements out. I always use it somewhere on my deer blinds. Thanks for watching my videos!
