The DEERC 200e is frequently suggested to me on Amazon, but is the $200 Brushless RC 4x4 basher one of the best budget RC trucks of 2021? On this episode of 10th Scale Garage, we put this thing to the test. We take a look under the hood and take it out bashing. We'll see how it handles off road in slow motion. I was surprised at just how durable this truck is making it one of the best budget rc cars on amazon.

​@@danwilliams5620that's a deal breaker for me. Even though I just got into hobby grade RCs at 1/14 scale, I already know things will break or just wear down naturally. Easy to access parts are a necessity. If you're expected to get parts only from manufacturer: A) availability limited to how long they feel like supporting that model B) shipping from China takes forever C) you're forced to pay whatever they feel like charging, no competitive pricing options D) that is, if you can actually get all the parts you actually need, then the above is still an issue. If I can't get parts, it's a waste of money. Sure, sometimes RCs are durable, but things WILL break, no matter how careful \ lucky you are. I'd rather not have a $200 paperweight.

What I plan to do is buy the brushed version for 120$, upgrade it with a 3650 brushless motor and decent esc and servo, radio for additional 100$ and get a monster that can run fast and is a decent basher.

For me my favorite basher in that price range is my Hosim hyper go 1/16 brushless on 3S is an absolute monsta!

I gotta ask, in the year since you wrote this, what have you replaced? Some folks say the 3s battery causes diffs to break. Some say the shock arms break. I really want this truck, but I've heard it's hard to get parts. Nothing else in this price range seems as durable. Traxxas and Arrma in the $250 range apparently blow huge goats with plastic gears and NIMH batteries that take 12 hours to charge... I know those 2 companies are good, but apparently they don't make good cheap vehicles. I'd love to hear your HyperGo experience 1 year later. If I can't buy replacement parts, it seems only a matter of time something will break because I'm a noob

How long did it last, please? My MJX 14301 lasted less than a month on 3s battery before gears stripped. And I went through 4 sets of tires in that month. I'm curious as to what broke first on this DeerC. Thank you.

I recommend the Bezgar HS101 Short Course Truck! Welll it's under 100 bucks and Same chassis 540 motor and two GOOD looking bodies. I have videos if anyone wants to see. Its from Amazon too lol. Good info..this would be good for tossing in a faster 2845.. I put in good oil shocks and made it much better

I got mine right before Christmas but I never actually got a chance to run it until winter was over. All I have to say is WHAT A TURD lol. Why is it that not a single reviewer on KZbin mentioned how SLOW this thing is? Did y'all get paid off not to do a speed test or mention how slow it is? I GPS clocked it at 18mph. For $200 it is definitely not worth it, it's advertised at 60kph, and parts are expensive ($50 on eBay for a spare parts kit) and hard to get. Anyways, it's my project car now. 3S lipo woke it up and it now runs at 32mph. I also have a $20 cheapo GoolRC 3650 3500KV motor on order which I'm expecting to double the speed.

Hey guys, great video. Just bought a RC PRO shredder also brushless and it is the exact same car/ transmitter kit. Kinda disappointed. may have to change shocks and tires plus strapping a 3s somewhere in there. ✌️

It looks cool if there are parts available but kinda small for a 1/10 maybe? Hard to tell. For $200 I'd rather get a HBX 16889 and max it out with all the metal upgrades and 108mm×40mm tires with some wheel spacers.

Just got mine for $150! It's on sale for $180, subtract 10% with the coupon, and I got another 5% off since I have a Prime card. Cheapest 1/10th 4x4 brushless RC I can find. It's going to be my winter beater, I need a truck I can abuse in the salt and snow and not worry about it because it's cheap lol.
