Hi I have several years running rc cars and the price is definitely good. I have a Horizon Rock Rey and it was close to $500 and it didn't even come with a battery. I think that you get two batteries and two body's for it is great because it will never look as good as new after the first day of playing with it. Thanks for the video and information

The first thing I look for is availability for parts. Plastic, carbon fiber and metal parts are going to break. But if you can't find parts it junk. I found also that if you install a camera/vtx it's great fun to drive.

This looks more like a stadium truck than a truggy and I am a sucker for stadium trucks. i have a Duratrax brushless evader and it's only two wheel drive and I paid like $225 CAD for it 10 years ago . Tough little things but unfortunately Duratrax went out of business . I installed Proline dirt dawg on that little thing and those tires hook up almost everywhere .This Truggy /Stadium truck has potential specially with 4WD , probably first thing people need to do is change the shock oil , check the diffs because as someone who owns 12 rc vehicles from Traxxas , HPI among others I can tell you almost every vehicle I have owned had little to no oil in the diffs , and tuning the diffs make a huge impact how your rc will handle. I would say people who are gonna buy this have to spend probably around another $100 on top to tune this thing .One thing I learnt is check the diffs right away before even running it . That extra 45 mins to 1 hour will save you from buying new diff gears.

Lipo Batteries for RC Cars always exceed their claims. Maybe cause your not always at 100% throttle and sometimes You can hook 2 of em up parralel and almost never charge them. Ive went without charging a car for two months and drove it several minutes a day

So what do you think you're doing there Keith, trying to get me in trouble with the wife hahaha. Now that is a pretty cool little toy for 160 bucks. I like the fact you're not afraid to step outside of your drone focus and just have a little bit of fun with some different toys. I definitely have been thinking about getting something like that but it's either high price or fear of buying junk. The three things that impressed me are the four-wheel drive, the water resistance, and excellent battery life. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the kind words, as always appreciate it! Indeed, Have to have some fun and drones are awesome, but other cool toys deserve some attention once in a while too, so I hope others can appreciate the diversity I'm trying to bring as well! I was surprised that this did so well actually, I dumped it in the water, ran into things, jumped it over things and ran it into tall grass so weeds were wound up around the axles, and it still worked nicely! For $150 including the $10 off coupon just for AD viewers from DEERC, including two batteries and spare parts, plus an exploded view with part numbers (in case I get a little too aggressive and need to tinker with a replacement part) seems really fair for the amount of enjoyment it left me with... 🤙

The dog bone links snap very easily. It runs good but not the advertised speed, unless you get different batteries to power it.

@@WindWalkerDrones interesting. So what method did you use to measure the speed? Just wondering. I know advertised speed and velocity are often used as propaganda points. Honest reviews are invaluable.

@@Leonardokite i actually took old phone and wire tied it to the rc. Had running it on google maps so i could get the speed. Screen recorded it while maps running. The max speed I got was.18mph. There was also another reviewer that did something similar. He put a small gps unit in the top of his. He got 17 mph. He's actually the one that told me about the bigger battery. He was definitely correct on that they did boost up the speed. In all honesty its not a bad rc. It's just not as fast as stated. You can by upgraded links if you look on line. But the ones that are on it are very cheap plastic.

Got 1 , like it ALOT Except X-tra tie rods BUT NO TOOL (2MM ALLEN) To Replace it & needs xtra AXLES 😜👊👍✌️🦅🇺🇸🦼
