it could also be that the Brushless cars you are trying are Sensorless Brushless motors. When running a Sensorless Brushless you don't have the same throttle control as you do with a Sensored motor. It has to bump the motor to get it going and kinda feel where the position of the shaft is, where as Sensored has sensors that tell it exactly where it is, so you get a way smoother acceleration :) Check out the Hobbywing 1/16 scale ESC Motor combos, you can find a sensored one for a decent price there if you'd like the try it :) With the new ESC you can also adjust the Punch % for the throttle and set how strong you want your drag brake (when you just let off the accelerator)

You think this is touchy and hard to control this brushless with only the stock 2s lipo in it? Wait until you try this with a 3s lipo. 😆It just takes practice to get use to the extra power but having it when you want it is real nice for straits and jumps.😁Try feathering the throttle with micro pumps as you turn to keep momentum without spining around as much.👍

Oh man I know. I’ve recently been playing around with the throttle speed setting in my radiolink. By turning it down to like 75% I’ve really improved the handling significantly. That and the gyro make this thing a beast on 3s✌🏼

Very similar if not the same. Same platform for sure. I’m still confused with the brands. I have the hosim hyper go but there’s also an Mjx hyper go 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️. After having 4 cars that use this platform I’m seeing there are some differences. It’s usually the more expensive ones have a receiver that’s separate from the esc. Cheaper ones like the mew4 have the receiver esc built into one unit. Also the diffs are plastic on some of the cheaper ones but this deerc I’m pretty sure has metal diffs. Haven’t opened it up yet but it sounds like it.

I just got the H16GT and the H16BM, the BM is brushless, I will run that till I fry it, Already got a 6500kv 2S motor and ESC to replace the stock stuff. Also, I do believe there is upgraded Diffs. For these already! There's also a bunch of anodized aluminum parts for them as well
