Thank you so much for this! Now I have a functional .epub file after 1 hour of work and there was only one extra error that I encountered, so I'll just say it here for other users that might encounter it: - attribute ‘clear’ is not declared for element ‘br’ - Basically search for the line where the error is and delete - clear="all" -. Also, I use the Windows version and the Metadata Editor is in the Tools menu for us. Thank you for such a great tutorial!

Nice tutorial! May I suggest you capture full screen with the program (Sigil) also full screen? Gives your viewer a better view and feel for your message. Keep up the good work!

Great tutorial! Now that you mention it, the window for Sigil does really resemble Eclipse and NetBeans. I suddenly wish I had spent more time learning HTML and less learning Java XD

Sigil 0.7.0 is such an improvement with ability to link stylesheets and previewer - though it's not that accurate. You can directly clean up the source code and if you want to publish to Kindle, i use Calibre to export the epub as a mobi file.

Download? ... Thank you, that was very helpful! But - to make this thing perfect, could you possibly add a download to the created epub file to the description? This would allow those, who got burned by other ebook creation software, to check the result with their ebook reader of choice. Without investing themselves, I mean.

When I select "Clear All" in Word, all the lines that have few words in them are no longer single spaced, as if they are double but not? Cheers for the Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you tried - Tarbbatigan ebook master Tip (should be on google have a look)? It is a good exclusive product for learning how to create an ebook without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my GF after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical results with it.

I'm trying to make an image with several links on it for an e-book. What is the maximum image size I can use, (600 by 800) and what is the amount of links on an image possible? Also, what are the limitations on an image map?

Is there a way to create a header - that has a link to beginning of chapter ? ( one that is just entered once per doc or chapter ) also is there a way to create a link in one chapter that links to another chapter ( so a link that opens another xhtml doc ?
