It's so funny you call him the "mouth from south". I was watching an older video of y'all and your dad crappie fishing and he was getting on your case for throwing keepers back. So funny. Fishing with my brother is one of my favorite things to do. He doesn't want to throw anything back so I'm constantly reminding him of the law. He's always gets on my case about that when we're out. It's a good thing he only goes fishing with me. Anyway, Robert I love the videos, keep em rolling. Bless y'all.

Thanks again for the great time! I have only caught 1 pompano and it was too small to keep. I must agree, the garlic/butter in the oven is good for any fish. I caught a big flounder behind the rental house in Ocean Isle Beach, NC one year and cooked it whole in the oven with garlic/butter. WOW! We love your channel and your dedication to God and family. For Pompano at home, I season the meat with a little lemon pepper. Get a pan searing hot with a touch of butter and olive oil. Put the fish in the pan skin side down and place a plate on top of it for the first couple of minutes to keep the skin from curling. After a couple of minutes, take the whole pan and put it under the broiler in your oven to finish it. Don't flip the fish over! Leave it skin down to crisp up the skin. I cook my Pompano to about medium or medium well and serve it skin side up to show off the crispy and delicious skin. Can't beat it!

Rob, when I first started fishing, I didn’t know how to cast until a friend taught me. I learned on a spinning rod. When I got my first casting rod (Shakespeare Amphibian), my dad taught me a new method for casting. I then began to improve my casting, and when I got my second casting rod (Shakespeare Ugly-Stik GX2), it came with an open casting reel, which I replaced with an enclosed casting reel, and after a few practice casts, I took the rod to the Susquehanna River, put part of a Baby Crawler (baby Canadian Nightcrawler) on my hook, and reeled in a few nice rock bass and a couple sunfish. This summer, I’m hoping to catch a few trout with my rod and bring them home for dinner.

Great video! It looks amazing. I don't know if you have watched Kamp Kenan's video he did a few weeks ago regarding hunting and his thoughts on it, but I have been thinking quite a lot about it. I know I've mentioned you taking Kenan on a lionfish harvest as an idea for a collaboration video on the first video he posted with you bringing his monitor food. But I'm thinking more and more about how awesome it would be for the hunting community to get him into hunting, since he's expressed an interest. That way ya'll can film the whole process of getting a license, buying and setting up the rifle, finding the animal, and then cleaning and eating it. He'd be an awesome ally to have.

Went deep sea fishing for the first time this past summer in Panama City and caught a 12lb pompano. I thought the boat captain was going in the water after it he was so pumped. He said he's fished the waters off Panama City for 20 years and had only caught one and knew of only 4 being caught in the area. Nothing the size of the one we caught that day. S/o to the Sword a Crazy and captain Butch hit them up if you're in the area, he won't disappoint, my boss has been going to him for years and best believe I'll be back this summer!

You should do more episodes like this one. Fresh fish + good recipe/spot.

Rob I just wanna tell you I’ve been a fan of deer meat for almost 4 years and you have always had the best attitude towards life... besides the great content that’s the second reason I continue to watch, you’re always positive and you can always tell how thankful and blessed you are for the life you have... you are truly an inspiration for myself and I wish you much more success and blessings in your futures... god bless

We are moving to Sebastian later this year (winter 2020). I've been binge-watching your content and am looking forward to the sport scene in FL. Luckily, my lady loves to fish and hunt, too.
