@Angelfire Solutions don't hogs destroy their environments though? even if it can't breed a hog that size is sure to eat a bunch of vegetation right? I honestly releasing it in the hopes of getting a trophy hog latter on is pretty selfish

Thanks for serving Certified stick welder in plate and pipe never welded professionally (became an engineer) but what a great skill for self projects, repairs etc glad I learned the trade

My Dad is a retired welder. He welded in the ship yards in Jacksonville and then for a company outside Atlanta for 40 yrs. He was a welding wizard. Thanks for always being such a good guy Rob I love watching you with your kids.

My Catahoula pup heard that pig and came tearing into the living room!!🤣🤣She was ready.......at 10wks old💪💪🤣 And that little guy's smile made my day! You could see he was having the time of his life!!!

It was great to let him go on the ranch. And thanks to you using everglades seasoning it has changed my life and my families lives. I cook for them on the weekends and holidays and they can't get enough, so I say thank you to Rob and everglades

Preservation at its finest and not just needless kill. Rob I always agree with how you catch clean and cook as you eat what you kill. But respect that you released the fellow as you weren't gonna eat him and didn't just kill him because he was a pest. Kudos 👏

Me either, but I sooooooo want to. The fishing would be a snap. I love freshwater so I’m certain I’d love saltwater. Hunting might be more difficult for me, but I’d like to at least try it once. Who knows? I might just love it!!!

I got a feeling he let this one go because of how big, and old it is. The meat wouldn't be that good because of it's age. It can't breed, so he might as well just let it live out the rest of it's days on the ranch.

Because of its' age it can't breed??? It wasn't castrated or dead. And with pigs, bigger is better if a boar, so this boar, big, entire, isn't likely religiously chaste.

Fabulous video and glad you let it go to find him another day for dinner. We do the same thing on our ranch and never suffer from a lack of good shooter hogs. Hog management is the key to good hunting. If in CA, look me up and we will hunt.

My thought was, if you gonna eat it, shoot it. If your going to release it use a tranq. Gun. Would have been less traumatic for both man and beast.

Very cool example to set for those people out there who think ALL hunters ares bloodthirsty monsters. Most simply are trying to feed their families in an ethical and conservation-minded way. This was a perfect example of moving a problem boar without killing it simply for the sake of killing it. I’m sure it will someday end up on the table, but you can be certain it’s not for a simple trophy. It’s for FOOD. Thank you for teaching/showing that example. Love from Susan in Louisiana.

Pro tip from a Georgia Boy, Weld some skids on the bottom of the trap and you can drag it from one location to another. Great Video.

My grandpa was a aircraft and missile welder in Vietnam. He taught me to weld when I was 12, I love it now I'm 15 almost 16. Ive made all kinds of stuff since then, I've done fences, gates, truck beds, and other stuff. I think it would be a good idea if you at least learned to stick weld. Got a bachelor's in Criminal Justice, went back to school and got my certificate in Welding Technology. Welded for a year. Now I work at the sheriff's office. I definitely enjoyed welding more lol. Very glad I learned that trade.
