Don't forget there is thousands of acres of public land. Just in the county I live, in Oklahoma, there is close to 20, 000 acres of public land to hunt and fish. @@notxirc8359 not entirely sure, but I’m betting it has something to do with reducing testosterone production, leading to less muscular meat, as well as better marbling. I’m betting it would also lead to the hog being less active, which results in more tender meat, because muscle gets tougher the more it’s used. That’s why steaks are often made from less used muscles. If that answers your question

Rob, something that I have done with the backstrap of a deer is basically the same thing but I took the bacon and did a basket weave with it and then rolled it up. I didn't have to use tooth picks because the end of the bacon was at the bottom, man it was amazing! Thank you for always being family friendly and my kids and wife love watching you and your family! We are in Dallas and don't get to the ocean often to fish but my kids are begging me to take them surf fishing after watch the video of you catching the flounder off the beach! I’ve done this exact same thing with some trapped sows. Never had wild hog until then. Wish I had saved the rest of that sow. Man she was good. I pecan smoked it until done. Oh maaaaan was that good eatin. Venison back straps same thing. Friends around the table are friends for life when you fill them up with wild delicacy’s.
