For a Day of Gratitude, on Thanksgiving Day, we gathered in the Oak Grove of Clarity Hamlet to listen to a Dharma talk by Brother Phap Dung. Thay teaches us about the importance of creating rituals not routines. And that healing is possible. We hope you enjoy the talk.

Ok I didn't hear the whole 66 minutes 14 seconds...but @28:39 , I disagreed with Sư Thầy ,,said "Walking meditation is Ritual" ! Walking meditaion is NOT ritual! Walking Mediation is a true activity, that meditation of knowing you are focusing on walking! It is not RITUAL! And Because of focusing and knowing of walking, the mind has no other targeted activities to be disturbed!

Dear Phap Dung, Thank you for a deeply moving sharing. I write to you from France , ( an old grandmother who has been for many years working in my small way for the planet and young people). We were for many years in Plum village retreats, and the beginning of the Wake Up movement..........and they changed my life. But, though I am in the middle of a project to try and help our young people at this deeply troubling time for them, I had a moment this morning where I needed some comfort and courage. I would just love to thank, honour and be grateful for the beauty , rocks, coyotes and wildness of Deer Park, and most particularly your beautiful teaching . They got me back where I needed to be, and though there are no coyotes in our garden there are many other beautiful things. I a
