I really wish people would just not treat trans people like we're a monolith. Yes, horrible trans people exist. But so do horrible cis people, gay people, straight, black, white, etc. The vast majority of trans people are just trying to live their lives, man. I feel like it makes it hard for the general consensus of people to adapt and accept this whole thing, and for the jail to not prevent this from happening in the first place is crazy. If that were true, i feel like you'd hear more stories about transmen winning competitions. Granted, I also don't have the numbers on how many transition pre-puberty, but i also think that should be illegal personally. A lot of young kids who think they're trans end up growing out of it when they grow older and realize they just didn't understand their own sexuality and simply thought they were trans because of social media and having a friend group of trans people who accepted them.
