I was a juror on a murder trial. The prosecution went so poorly, that after our not guilty verdict, the lead detective asked us to please not judge the whole police department on this case, they're normally much more professional, etc. It was so crazy. The public defenders, regardless of how bad the prosecution did, were amazing!

You missed the best part! When Judge Glanville held Young Thug's lawyer in contempt, he sentenced him to 30 days in jail served on weekends. The lawyer asked if he could share a cell with Young Thug so they could work on their case together! 😂 But yeah, the Ex Parte (secret) meeting alone is grounds for a mistrial. It should have been over that day.

The first time I tuned in was pretty early in the trial and someone walked up and handed Thug drugs .... in freakin court! This is great, Josh! Perfectly captured the insanity that this trial has been. No one should be held In jail (especially the conditions of this one) for 2 years, not allowing bond.

Considering he pled Guilty, he deserved to be in jail. This is not the story of an oppressed person being racially targeted, which often does happen. This was a criminal who wanted to run around being a little gangster, and RICO cases very rarely involve a bail. He wasn’t sitting there waiting in a cell for a trial for two years, which is different. He had one of the longest trials in Georgia history. In my opinion, he should still be in jail.
