Great demo... it helps a lot to actually see you do it from beginning to end. TY for sharing.

Hey buddy, I've been thinking hard about getting the litchi app, but I'm still up in the air. However, this video may have sold me? It's so cool that you can set up the mission from home then go out and start it. Cool! I'm waiting to see your tutorial on litchie before I pull the trigger. Hey, thanks so much for your videos. Michael

I know this is an older video but I was wondering why you took over and manually centered once you initiated the orbit. I would have liked to see if it would have centered it with the settings that you had in it instead of you having to manually take over and do it yourself. Is that always the case it doesn't Center it on its own? Good video thanks

Dylan. Great video on Litchi. Looking forward to more Litchi videos from you. I’ve created 15 videos and look forward to using Litchi app for future videos.

Can I mark my start point from where I plan to start? Google's version is wrong so can I take off, find my center then mark the start point in the field?

Thanks for the tutorial. Would the drone be able to find the altitude and the orbit if you already have the drone up in the air? Or does it have to start from the ground?

Hey Dylan, nice tutorial! Thanks for posting. Just wanted to say that I can set speed of revolution setting up Orbit mission in Litchi while disconnected from drone. Not sure why you are not able to? Did you both try sliding button and tapping “+” as well? Just wanted to throw that out there.
@deeyung6 жыл бұрын
Billy! Frazier Hey Billy! Yes sir, I did try both! It was very weird that I couldn’t set the speed without the drone connected. As I said in the video, I just assumed it was because it wasn’t connected to the drone, therefore not knowing the speed capabilities of the drone? It’s very strange that you can change it when it’s not connected! The real question is... why doesn’t DJI allow you to preprogram like this?
@William.Frazier6 жыл бұрын
Dylan... In my opinion, DJI keeps flight control on a more “amateur” or “user friendly” level within the DJI Go app and why they won’t let you preplan missions such as Litchi does. As you stated, people really need to become familiar with flying a drone and use of the DJI Go app before moving over to using a more advanced 3rd party app such as Litchi, Autopilot, etc. Also, I wanted to mention that when running orbit missions in Litchi that if there is a loss of communication with the drone (LCMC), the drone will continue running the orbit until you’re either able to reconnect or run down to critical battery level where the drone would auto land at its current location. Someone just needs to be cautious when doing an orbit mission. In short, don’t fly your drone off to run an orbit mission a distance where loss of communication with the drone is possible. You could find yourself in a bit of a mess. :)

Super Litchi tutorials ! May I ask how low you can parameter the drone to fly and the smalest radius you can select when doing Orbit mode ?

So when I want to stop the mission I hit the left side stop sign? Then will the return home option appear? Also must the drone be in the air before I start the saved orbit mission?

Can you not fix the camera to centre on the tower like a POI in the weypoints missions. Or do you have to tip the camera down manually each time?
@sebastiennunes53385 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this tutorial. I don't really see how to use Missions, the frame you setup when programming the mission is quite random. Any advice about how to evaluate your frame while creating the mission?

Question, what happens if you have the height too low does it go higher or does it just fly into a building? What's the fastest way to regain control can I just two the stop button on my controller I purchased the app though it looks really handy for some simpler orbit like waypoint shots

Dylan, i have been learning allot about useing Litchi Waypoints from watching your tutorials, and i do use them. But what is the best way to determine the height of a POI in relation to the Drones altitude and distance from the POI? Thanks.
@bish7992 жыл бұрын
you would be better off using gimbal pitch, rather than POI height, i will be uploading a video this weekend on Litchi waypoints with multiple POI and altitude and, gimbal pitch and speed.

Litchi ? Is that better than the original app.. Also I'm pretty sure if you don't use the DJI Go app if something goes wrong they won't cover the warranty or DJI refresh if I'm not mistaken....

Nice as usual. BTW Litchi is an oriental fruit and it is pronounced like Leetchee.
@MartinWillett5 жыл бұрын
Lychee is the sole member of the genus Litchi in the soapberry family, Sapindaceae. It is a tropical tree native to the Guangdong and Fujian provinces of southeastern China. Litchi is the Latin name for the genus, the fruit is pronounced lie-chee, the app is pronounced lit-chee.

WARNING: DJI will no longer be supporting Android devices so anyone that uses Android devices to fly your drones be careful 😞
@mark_barrentine6 жыл бұрын
Do you have a DJI link to this news? It would be odd for DJI to do this since CrystalSky is Android based.

Clearly this is wrong. As of 2024, DJI drones still work with Android devices.
