Such a great record, all of Hysteria. The tour of course was extra special with Rick Allen making his comeback on the drums after his horrible car accident, the place just went nuts when he came out and for his drum solo. Tesla was the opener for them on this tour in Phoenix and they were also fantastic and it was the start of a lifelong relationship with Def Leppard. Need to check out the track "Song and Emotion" from Tesla, the tribute track to Steve Clark, after he passed away in 1991.

This song was released, just a weeks before the love of my life left to find a old flame in California. Nearly destroyed me. Still remember those mornings before she left as some of the best. The days after as some of the worse. On a downward spiral for 2 years before i met my wife. This song was on the jukebox. we were together 30 years , married 28, before cancer took her February this year. This song will always be special to me. Glad to get to see you hear it for the first time! Big thumbs up brother.

This was my late teen/early 20s years. I had such a crush on Steve (R.I.P.) back then. I was fortunate to meet them a few years ago. They stayed in the hotel I worked that was near the concert venue. I had been called to help with room checkouts because we were in the process of a full checkout/full check in and I hadn't been there 10 min when they came around the corner to turn in their keys (got to touch Joe's hand..ack! lol). Anyway, while I closed out their rooms, Phil asked me was I going to be at the concert that night. Lobby full of people, NOBODY recognized them, and I didn't give a f*ck. I said HELL YEA! Hehehehe! Awesome band to see live, even all these years later!!

I had the great fortune to be a teenager at this time in the 80s. I listened to all kinds of rock music. We had a teenage nightclub locally that catered to kids ages 13 - 20 -- and two of the largest sets there were the metalheads and the hip hop kids. The DJ played music all night -- the heads would headbang to our stuff and the hip hop kids would dance to theirs. No fights, no problems ever. We secretly loved one another's music -- DEF LEP was one of the hip hop kids' favorites. In fact, many of us still know each other and talk on FB all the time and we are in our late 40s and early 50s now. This particular song was one of the favorite slow dance jams for us heads and everyone else back at TPs (that was the club's name).

I made a mixtape with this and “Love Bites” alternating. It annoyed my college roommate and he was a Def Leppard fan. Maybe because I played it constantly. LOL

Dunno if it has come up re: Rick Allen and that he is drumming with one arm and both feet (differently) after a car crash.

JAMEL, THIS BAND HAS WENT THROUGH A LOT OF SETBACKS, THE LOSS OF RICK ALLEN'S LEFT ARM IN A CAR ACCIDENT, THEN THE GUITARIST HERE , STEVE, PLAYING THE WHITE LES PAUL WAS FOUND DEAD LAYING IN THE STREET FROM DRINKING A LOAD OF ALCOHOL ECT. HE WAS REPLACED BY VIVIAN CAMPBELL, THE BAND WENT ON, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A LYNYRD SKYNYRD STORY , WITHOUT A PLANE CRASH INVOLVED, BUT THEY HAD CRASHES, AND WENT ON, WHAT A GREAT BAND, THEY STILL SELL OUT VENUES TODAY, WHAT A GREAT DETERMINATION, WE MUST GO ON, ROCK ON, COUSIN FIGEL

Jamal, my heart goes out to you because I really feel you are living in the wrong time slot of your life. I truly know if you were born in the sixties, and lived through the 70's you would be at every concert you could get tickets to. It was an exciting era for music. I enjoy your videos.
