Tom, the dungeon daddy seem to buff the attack of the enemies whenever you use an ability. He was probably the source of most of the damage you took in the run due to your massive amount of rerolling.

9:41 Wouldn't the Garlic be like a free use of the Seer ability each turn? Instead of filling a dice slot like the Seer, it just eliminates one at the start, but same end result of one less slot to fill. But for only two gold it's permanent. That seems like a good deal to me.

(I haven't played this so I could be wrong but) I think it actually meant that it would apply -1 to the counters where you just need to add to make a total hence it being called a "Total Slot", rather than removing the slot entirely.

This game has _SO_ much potential but I feel like the implementation is actually not the best 😕 A lot of the gameplay is _super_ tedious. It would benefit greatly from some pretty basic quality of life things.

It does say normal difficulty. Peglin is also pretty easy when you start, but you can keep cranking up the difficulty until it's impossible.
