Matt, if you’re wondering why your gravolodon was not as impressive as you expected its because you didin’t get the curse immunity and Gravolodon’s target relic was removed when he got cursed

and the even sadder thing is that even though this stage has both of his targets, he probably wouldn’t work amazingly on this stage because the idi stack would get kb’d by him every hit and just eat his hp really quickly (this is just theory though, I haven’t tried it yet, feel free to prove me wrong)

​@@littleman231 Your theory is true, even without rebound tanking is not an option for the idi swarm. Using fast meat shields such as manic mohawk, rock and ones that can eat hits like metal macho are preferred. You should also use breakerblast to sync up their attacks on a meatshield like rock or metal macho. This prevents them from pushing like an unchecked cyclone.

Matt. The reason why gravi died so fast in this level is because you didn’t get his curse immune. Which is essential for most anti relic units… and Gravi’s talents also make him more viable than most of the UL legend units…

@ Gravi is still better. He works against every relic enemy, (except for primeval cyclone) he also takes less time to respawn and attacks faster. He also can do double damage with his wave attacks. Gravi has more potential than Ruri.

Matt, 2 things: 1. You didn't get Gravolodon's Curse Immune talent, which means that his resistance to relics doesn't work because of curse. He's really good, you just didn't talent him in a way that makes sense. 2. In terms of ultra talents, there's two that are really good: Ganesha and Kuu. Ganesha gets higher DPS than Dasli along with wave immune, and Kuu becomes one of the best anti-surge attackers. Both should be considered!

Yes Ganesha can have a higher DPS than Dasli, but Ganesha's overall kit is worse admittedly.. (unless you are fighting surge immune enemies, then she's WAY better!)

Kenshin is definitely worth it, but only if you can also afford their talents. Specifically, their target relic and curse immune. They have some ok match ups against black enemies, but they honestly weren't considered that good before their talents because black is not a useful trait to kb, but their relic targeting is insanely good, they were actually considered the best anti relic uber in the game for a time, and while they may not quite be top dog anymore, they are still insanely good.

Matt if you get a high enough level gravolodon with max defense buff, it can survive multiple hits from zero luza in 3 crown (Also this part is important if your trying it, you must have curse immunity or it won’t work at all)

In level 30 with full talents. It can stall base zero luza for 27 seconds. But level 60 can stall him for almost 1 minute(no strengthen)

Gravolodon and other units require curse immunity if you wanna get relic target, relic target is useless if you're cursed Gravolodon is also a really good generelist, good hp even without the resist, fast recharge and slight higher wave damage than slime cat of the same level but lower wave level, basically a slime cat that can attack and stack more than once because of how long he lives on the battlefield, just imagine how many waves equivalent of slime's he's able to dish out while a second Gravolodon is about to join the first one in the frontline

For those wondering, gravy actually wouldve been terrible on this stage. The problem is he doesnt do enough damage. Idi resembles a mr puffer and enemies like that need to be taken out in major chunks, not in little parts like gravy would do.however you do still need the curse immune talent

Matt you should check warlock and pier. I know you have him and he has ultra talents which allow him to hit traitless enemies! He is an insane damage dealer, but can only hit aliens, however with this ultra talent he can deal insane damage to traitless enemies. He is insanely good against heavenly tower bosses and any other traitless boss. I think you should check him out and you might have fun with him. Love your vids keep up the good work!
