Very helpful - and entertaining thank you. Especially the accent - sounds like Ross Noble. 😊 Around 9:15 there's an awkward clip to replace. I found just now it is quite easy if you first connect the awkward clip then manoeuvre the panel into place. Cheers from Perth WA.

If you haven't got or can't get one of those air pump things, then you can use a couple of those suction pad lifter things for glass. Lift the glass to the top then put the pads at the bottom of the glass so it rests on the door. Never trust anything that sucks. Use 2 for safety.

This is an oldie. New regulator to fit today (drivers side) looks a bit of a fiddle.

@@BritannicaRestorations worst bit was releasing the rod for the door latch. I've got the window out cleaning it and touched up the rusty bits inside the door. Fortunately it's a nice afternoon here.

What a champion. Could i suggest a video on defender wiper motors mine seems to have not enough energy to go back to the start position when the glass is dry?

I will see what I can do - I may have to get back to you later as I do not have one on hand to do a demo, but check the gearboxes on the bulkhead and if the drive cable is not kinked or the grease is dry Mike

The product I use is Fluid Film www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/fluid-film-rust-and-corrosion-prevention-0381567p.html#srp It is made of lanolin and always stays sticky - good stuff! Mike
