It didn't take me off guard. Well, sort of. I was very suspicious as to what that room was for, so I covered it. I wasn't expecting an absolute horde of people burnishing straight to the hostage and somehow running out of ammo while being shot at by 4 ppl lmao

I played it with 2 MGs just camping, I was just continually slaughtering these guys for a solid 30 minutes. Truly an XP farm

as far as I know night vision goggled during day ops don't decrease your FOV. you can tell, because your goggles are actually up and not down and in use. The green light that night goggles emit is also a sign, if the decreased fov is active.

They do seem to affect your mobility, even in day light. I use to leave them on all the time until I noticed depending on the load out dropping a full bar of mobility just from the NVGs

It's honestly not often where you're put on the defensive in DK2, either in dev maps or Workshop content. Nice to see a bit of a switch-up. I'm gonna have to try my hand at getting absolutely destroyed by this map pretty soon, I've been really slow about getting through the maps.

Usually my approach to this mission is either getting the vip in the closet or in between my operators in the bedroom. One man covering front and one back with vip in the middle. Usually get first man covering general forward area and get second man to close the door behind them allowing him to deploy bangs. Then based on the situation, ill either move first man to the front door to pie it while second man covers back door and bedroom area with vip somehwere in between first and second. Works 9/10 times with no injuries

Damn the VIP and the AR guy almost got shot from behind as you push out into the hallway, that's really lucky. You can see 2 guys in the center room as the game slows down right at the end/

Its not really lucky, that is the MASSIVE flaw with this map and I hope not the direction the game is going. Those spawned into areas that they have no physical access too. So clearly rooms is pointless as once you're out of line of site, more AI is spawned in.

What I did is cover all possible entrance to the room. Move to the door near the extraction point, in L formation so there will be eyes front and back. Throw a flash to the door. Then move in to clear the hallway and run like hell to extraction. Oh and I recommend playing the game with the mod, Bullets go through doors. It basically makes anyone who stops infront of a door to be a buddyf*cker.

This mission is poor and massively flawed for this game. The original goal of the game appeared to be "clear the rooms". That's good, but when the AI "spawns" into rooms, it totally ruins the game play. On this map SPOILER: The top far right room, they blow a hole in the wall and spawn in there. When you go into the room to clear it, it is clear and the locked door is still locked. Leave the room and they start spawning in it again. Totally ruins the map, totally ruins the idea of the whole game.
