looks like lots of hard work .. it’s looking good Paul

at the end of it, it'll not even be really visible potentially but at least it should put a stop to the digging.

Looking good Paul, and the fence lower defence is coming along nicely 🙂 That tree which is making babies is going to be fun taming though

Next week we'll have kitties back in this part of the yard most likely - assuming I don't falter in my progress. Sadly they missed out on having it for "Winter"

Wow!, that's a huge amount of fencing to be installed by one person. Great job!
@pldaniels5 ай бұрын
Fortunately in this case I had a proper fencing person install the actual colourbond fence, but I've done the top-rollers and now the main thing we're doing here is installing the blocks on the underside to inhibit the dig-out

Haha, I started giggling bad here. First I thought I heard wrong, heard it again, and was "confirmed". (Yes, I'm a little school kid in my head.) Love the work Paul

We got a gate like at the start in 2004 and cost $425 then. I hope the prices haven't increased like everything else. Stupid gate had two locks, one each side so you could easily lock yourself out or in depending on where you were standing and what you had locked. Hope they fixed that far cup as well but didn't look like it. It's looking really good Paul. .👍👍

Like a normal house door, you can use the key to lock/unlock it from either side. Fortunately we do have alternative access options. Stuff is certainly never cheap. The fencing in the video cost $14,000, then we added the rollers which were another $3,000, and now the blocks which is another $1,000 :(

Cats are Newtonian , they can transform from hard as nails to as fluid as 90wt gear oil in the blink of an eye . One of natures mysteries .

Lot of work Paul! You would rarely catch me doing any landscaping!

Definitely labours the body in many ways. My back and shoulders seem to be taking the hit this time. Placing the blocks is particularly entertaining as I have to do a full squat, hold the 8kg block with two or three fingers and try slide it in sort of level below ground level. Currently only getting about 3 fence segments a day done

Install 45-Degree Extend-A-Post Extensions and install them inwards so no kitty can escape
@pldaniels4 ай бұрын
We do already have that sort of set up around the rest of the area ( see other videos/photos :) ). The main problem we had currently is the dig-out ( now solved ). The rollers do work very well so long as you have the 1.8m elevation, shorter than that and some cats can get enough of a purchase over the roller.
