Does Webster make fantastic, high quality videos? Yes, yes he does!

My main disappointment was the fact that areas still had loading times between them, I was hoping for a 2024 game, the entire map would be a single load, at least the above ground areas.
@WebstersYouTubeАй бұрын
I think it was technically possible. Load times on SSD were borderline non-existant, and from Lesiure Park you can see a lot of Wonderland Plaza and the Food Court is loaded in through the windows. I'm assuming it was a conscious decision.

If there was an option to play without the time limit, with the progression system based around completing set tasks and the reward was more focused on completion, then this game would probably attract more people, especially those who find strict time limits too stressful to be enjoyable. Just as long as they make it an option and not standard, so they don't alienate returning players by making it too easy.

They tried that in Dead Rising 3, and it took a lot away from how the game feels. They had an additional mode that added the timer back in, and that was nothing short of transformative. The clock really is key to the experience.

I dont care what anyone says, Larry was turned into Wings of Redemption and that fits perfectly.

My stubbornness not to double-dip means I'm still waiting to play this lol
@WebstersYouTubeАй бұрын
This trend of having a digital release a month or two before the physical release is really gross. They're trying to force the 20% of us holding out on physical to either convert to digital or double dip.

4:10 20 whole minutes of doing whatever you want in the mall and exploring? Is this a bad thing?

I've never been one for aimless games. I never know what to do in games like Animal Crossing, Sims, etc. So, when given 20 mins to kill, I'm not very imaginative.

I'm not a fan of the new font in this release. It's quite small in places like mission instructions. I feel like that's not great for accessibility on Capcom's part, and let's not forget Steam Deck and PS Portal users. Hell, there's also people streaming to their phones using telescopic controllers. Also I'm with you on the menu. Damn, that lost charm.

You would think they would have prioritised that, given the original was criticised for having unreadably small text in an era where the Xbox 360 didn't have an HDMI out port yet, and most players were still using standard definition CRTs. I guess this remake really is faithful XD
@kibatechwolfАй бұрын
It didn't need one, it took more than it gave. Out of all camcorders games dino crisis is worth a remake
@WebstersYouTubeАй бұрын
I would love to see a Dino Crisis remake. What do you feel the Dead Rising remake took away though? Everything seems to be here. If anything, we have extra content (restored beta weapons, new books, etc.)

@@WebstersKZbin it changed dialogue like the hatchet man, removed erotica photo shots. The hope of something new added it would be nice to have sandbox like dr2 otr.
@WebstersYouTubeАй бұрын
I already talked about my thoughts on Cliff's dialogue swap and the Erotica photo category in the video, so I won't repeat that here. I'll just say I feel the impact of those changes has been greatly exaggerated by the fanbase and, overall, we've gained a lot more.

@WebstersKZbin yes you did but for me personally am autistic and don't like things to change. It may have given a few weapons and a spit shine but have to agree it really didn't need one as much as other capcom titles

Always happy to meet a fellow autistic person. My supports over the years have helped me learn to let go of the smaller things, but it used to be much harder when I was freshly diagnosed over 20 years ago.
