In the REAL world, when one country supplies another country with military vehicles and/or weapons, those things come with a contract that states, "thou shalt not use these in..." this or that sort of situation. Much like the US weenies telling the Ukrainians how far into Russia they can shoot their missiles. Failure by the receiving nation to follow those rules has negative ramifications. Clearly in this case, both the US and Germany have given UA permission to use their armored vehicles in Russia.

@@AstroGremlinAmerican General Hodges didn't rise to the rank of general, and the position of Commander of United States Army Europe, without being a skilled politician. That said, I think he's too intelligent to run for president. Politicians as a group, tend to be sociopathic social climbers, that's why they only very rarely make good leaders. They attempt to look like good leaders because they think it will help them win election, but they rarely have the motivation and skills to actually be good leaders. An army general on the other hand is someone who has already proven that he is a skilled and motivated leader, and probably only indulges in the political side of the job in order to further their career.

There's only one thing I disagree with what Gen. Hodges said. He said, "I'm not an eloquent speaker". I would vote for Gen. Hodges for what ever office he might chose to run for.

Ukraine should occupy Russian territory, so after a ceasefire, Ukraine has something to exchange with Russia. India did the same with Pakistan in the 1965 war. When Pakistan was gaining ground in Kashmir, India opened a front in Rajasthan and got close to Lahore. In war, position matters, and it matters a lot. Being at the top of a mountain is not the same as being at the bottom. If Ukraine has to reclaim its land from Russia, where the Russians have already fortified positions, Ukraine will face heavy casualties. Similarly, every inch of land that Russia takes from Ukraine, if well fortified, will result in significant Russian casualties. However, even though Russia may suffer heavy losses, it is still gaining land. If Ukraine occupies Russian land that was not fortified and builds defenses similar to other parts of Ukraine, then Russia will face huge casualties. Even if Russia wins that land, it will not lose Ukrainian territory. Most importantly, when it comes to a ceasefire, Ukraine can exchange this land for its own, otherwise, Ukraine risks losing its land permanently."

He is wrong every time, he has been saying upto now Ukraine can win. He is another US military man who only experience was killing goat herders in Iraq, therefore his experience is irrelevant. He and you might want to reflect on Vietnam, remember you were winning until you ran away in the night and lost, this is the same.

Ben Hodges is a very intelligent General and a very supportive figure regarding the Ukranian war and he is very diplomatic in answering those sensitive questions with regards to the American position in connection with the latest Development of the war. He is saying that part of this incursion inside Russia is to destroy those Russian asset located in this region where the Russian arm forces using this place as the source of their attack on a Ukranian soil and those asset that Help Putin Finance this war like the pipeline being used to supply Oil to Hungary and the Slovakia I supposed in this regard.

I very much appreciate the integrity General Hodges. He split with his party when his party contravened the election process. He speaks plainly, carefully, and calmly, urging people look at events as they are. This is how we all should act, no matter our political party. Be aware, be involved, and be *rational*.

This narrative ( of Kremlin ) about German tanks on Russian land. Mostly in WW2, tanks were on Ukranian land (fully front covered it ) and only part of Russia had fighting in their areas! Remember Germans never reached Moscow cause ukraine was first on the way from Germany to the east of ussr. Sooo Germans first should be worried not to desert Ukrainians , first of all ! Again . by denying all needed support .
