In the REAL world, when one country supplies another country with military vehicles and/or weapons, those things come with a contract that states, "thou shalt not use these in..." this or that sort of situation. Ukraine should occupy Russian territory, so after a ceasefire, Ukraine has something to exchange with Russia. India did the same with Pakistan in the 1965 war. When Pakistan was gaining ground in Kashmir, India opened a front in Rajasthan and got close to Lahore. In war, position matters, and it matters a lot. Being at the top of a mountain is not the same as being at the bottom. If Ukraine has to reclaim its land from Russia, where the Russians have already fortified positions, Ukraine will face heavy casualties. Similarly, every inch of land that Russia takes from Ukraine, if well fortified, will result in significant Russian casualties. However, even though Russia may suffer heavy losses, it is still gaining land. If Ukraine occupies Russian land that was not fortified and builds defenses similar to other parts of Ukraine, then Russia will face huge casualties. Even if Russia wins that land, it will not lose Ukrainian territory. Most importantly, when it comes to a ceasefire, Ukraine can exchange this land for its own, otherwise, Ukraine risks losing its land permanently."

I very much appreciate the integrity General Hodges. He split with his party when his party contravened the election process. He speaks plainly, carefully, and calmly, urging people look at events as they are. This is how we all should act, no matter our political party. Be aware, be involved, and be *rational*.

US cannot make the same mistake as back before before WW2, its really not in US best interest.

The Red army standing on the Atlantic coast with an extra 800 million people in its empire including modern economies like France and Germany, the Red navy using Atlantic ports facing the east coast was not in your interest btw. You are not a native English speaker.

This narrative ( of Kremlin ) about German tanks on Russian land. Mostly in WW2, tanks were on Ukranian land (fully front covered it ) and only part of Russia had fighting in their areas! Remember Germans never reached Moscow cause ukraine was first on the way from Germany to the east of ussr. Sooo Germans first should be worried not to desert Ukrainians , first of all ! Again . by denying all needed support .

You missed the part where the Germans split their forces and laid siege to Moscow. Stalin got bailed out again and again but Russians pretend they did it on their own.

Germans are wracked with guilt over WWII. They need to get over that.
