some tips from me: 1. Alleria Swiftwind is, according to most, useless. If (when) you buy access to the other heroes, choosing the best one is gonna be more difficult and I can't help. 2: You may not be ready or it, but there is an additional 2 extra challenges in each level called Hero/Iron challenge, which is the same map but with added restrictions. Your reward is bonus stars. 3. Special/Tier 4 towers have extra upgrades that allow them to perform special actions 4. Tesla X104 is cracked, always use it 5. Next boss is at level 9, you will unlock the sorcerer tower at that level 6. Try getting spear throwing for reinforcements. It gives them an op range attack that is free, can hit flying targets, and pretty spammable (Requires 15 stars)

bonus tip: barracks are kinda bad without supporting towers

@@tolaskusnier It was always bad:( most enemies can one shot them and waves come in swarms so it will be able to distract only 3 of the 100enemies(also farms do the same and they are free

Tip in second winter level you can use medeors on frozen cave to unlock the yeti thing

Tip: There are some broken down buildings or structures in certain levels like in 6:27 where they can help you fight so keep an eye out for those since they are worth building, there is also alot of secrets and references if you just click on some objects or animals

Hey Matt! So happy you're playing this game again! For future reference, the purple level 4 wizard is SUPER GOOD!!! They're super helpful and I recommend using it. Use as many of them as you can. The yellow level 4 mage is also helpful because it does good damage and removes armor. It also spawns big golems to also do damage and absorb some too.

It is very important that you support your block units with ranged towers. other than that, reinforcements are very good to spend points on if you often find yourself in a pinch. have a good one Matt! I'll surely watch potential later episodes ^^

I got a tip for you Matt : you should always place the barracks at the end of the path way so then when enemys get past you troops you will have some back up troops (you should always have 2 barracks at the end of the path)

so glad that matt came back to a insane game a few tips from me would be upgrade reinforcement's to max and upgrade meteor shower also when you get higher try and use quite a few mage towers mainly because when you get up every thing is suuuper tanky and heavily armored and use demo tower :forgot the name: for crowd control use barracks in places that are heavily guarded for mass destruction and archers for mage resistant kids. and thats what i would recommend

Matt I recommend u to always have maxed farmers they can throw spears dealing good demage can hit flying enemies and their stats are decent too I use this every time and it always helps alot. Also if ur gonna ever buy a hero with real money I recommend u buying the fire guy inferno or sth I forgot what it's called he's rly good

Thank you for bringing Kingdom Rush, it's one of my favourite game (series) ever! And certainly the best tower defence IMO. I hope you'll continue, and eventually do all 4 games! Area with graveyard and some others are additional content elite missions that will be available after you beat the main story, which yes, has 3 areas with a few area-specific enemies and stuff. The castle in the sand isn't available though - it's where the second game, Frontiers, starts, hope you'll get into it aswell after this one!

Some tips matt, if you send out waves early when you are currently fighting a wave, you get money for it, AND it refills the asteroids and farmers faster. Archers are definitely the best tower in the game, use them more in levels. Use the barracks near the end of the map, as a last resort to kill enemies. Bombs are best to deal with spiders. Magic affects wulfs and metals best.

I haven’t played in a while and I was never that good, but I would try and spread out your upgrades! Also I would recommend always have some mages since a lot of the enemies have armor! Some levels you should have a lot more than a few though!

Hey Matt, for the snow region I would highly recommend using the mage towers, you unlock their stage 4 varient on the first level which can summon golems and does small burn damage, plus most if not all enemies there have no magic resistance or are armoured.

Tip: reinforcements have a 10 second cool-down and they last 20 seconds so you can have two pairs on the field at all times. This provides a lot of stalling power which allows other towers to take the enemies down. So always spam reinforcements when you can, it’s just free damage and stalling. Another tip: Try to create a central choke point with one or two barracks on the map so that you can place your most powerful towers near it and so that they can always be attacking. This also allows for good bombard tower placements because lots of enemies tend to clump up there.

Matt. The best upgrades to get are the meteor ones. The last upgrade is super usefull and if youre in a pickle you can send the next wave early to get your reinforcements or meteors back.

Matt, when you have stuff there’s actually a skip button in the bottom left corner that you can click so you can get you out of it but when you go back in it’s like getting you back to the old my singing masters hatchery which is good

Matt, the meteor is amazing if you upgrade it to a certain point. The fire from it lingers on the ground and does more damage if people walk on it. also UPGRADE REINFORCEMENTS they are very good and free

Matt in some levels there are things that will help you. for example in the forest one with the spiders there was a small house which you can rebuild and that will send out elves similar to the barracks, there are things like this in lots of levels.

tips i wanna give you from my experience, barracks(holy knight) × tesla is op. also, you can upgrade your barracks to reset your knights immedietly if 1-3 is/are killed. spam altillery but i would suggest to spread them(you could choose big bertha or tesla, both are good in their own ways). archer(tree something, dunno forgot the name)are mini boss/boss killer if you build them with vines and poison. big bertha is also f*n good if maxed out. there's a lot more tips but i am too lazy to write a whole paragraph about it
