Excellent video. This is very similar to my own style, and I know this stuff works. That's why I follow this channel, because these guys take a no 🐂 💩 approach to self-defense. I'm always on the lookout for nuggets of gold to my own style, and this channel is a gold mine of information. Good job guys

The other day I was watching a video my nephew walked in and his reaction was how come you’re always watching this guy he does the same thing and every video a martial artist you were trained by Green Beret I said yes I was trained by Green Beret and my Green Beret believe the same thing . Repetition is key. Keep it simple. If you do the same move over and over and over and over and over again, it becomes muscle memory if it works why changes. I said don’t misunderstand that demonstrating what he’s demonstrating no other moves complicated. He’s not teaching for the black belts, even though they can learn something from it. He’s not teaching for the instructors, even though they can pick up something too. He is teaching good habits. He is teaching fundamentals that carry all the way through to the advance. He is teaching for people like you and me but uncle aren’t you a black belt that’s besides the point I said to my nephew, do you understand black belt is just the beginning it’s not the end you are still learning. All the black belt means that you now understand the basics. He’s not teaching just movement. There are times he makes a video he’s not showing you anything physically he’s teaching you mentally. How to think when you’re in a situation , mindset. Keep doing what you do you are appreciated

There are two very different contexts being mixed here to unfairly criticize technique. Not every two hand push deserves a chopped up tongue, an eye strike, an ankle break, and broken ribs. Some situations require submission and deflection - especially by military personnel working with local civilian populations. This seems like a cheap shot comparing street self defense to delicate civilian population management.

Just being fair, in the video the attacker was grasping and pushing not an open hand push…but the duck under/arm bar , as the professor points out is Not Practical.., KEEP IT SIMPLE!
