The guilt is written all over Eric’s face. We know and he knows he did it. Whether he’s convicted or not depends on if his lawyers cast enough doubt and if the jury buys it. Cut a deal for 20 yrs, serve 10, come out and start over…without the itchy woman. I can tell by the comments on this post and people on the street. Bradah had it coming. Hands off somebody else’s wife. Itchy Joyce should be held accountable as well in civil court.

The brothers testimony as to the character and behavior of his brother does not prove anything other than to confirm that his brother is cool headed or gives the appearance of even under stress. So the fact that he didn't see any change in behavior just confirms that fact. That is not any kind of evidence that proves in the least that he is innocent.

You have it backwards. Defense does not need to prove anything at all... just cast as much doubt on the prosecution's case as possible. It is only the prosecution that must show solid proof or something undeniably close to it.

@@davec3651 Yes burden of proof is in on the prosecutor. Everyone is assumed innocent until proven guilty.

@@davec3651 I was just making the point that the brothers testimony didn't seem to have any point other than being confirming of the fact that the brother is a cool headed person. It would have more significance if the brother's normal nature was being emotional and the fact that he did not notice any change in behavior would be more evidence that he didn't do it. But since Eric is a cool headed type of guy according to his brother that is consistent with his lack of emotion even after supposedly have killed someone so violently.

@ He probably feels justified so that helps him not feel guilty or show any remorse. Maybe even his wife feels the same like she was victimized and not so much an accomplice or equally guilty in the moral crime of adultery. Of course just my opinion I have no idea what they are feeling or thinking but watching them causally and confidently stroll out of the court room made me have that feeling. Not defending Tokuhara he played with fire and payed the ultimate price.

Let Eric Thompson walk away a free man, he needs to be able to support his three children. Lesson learned, Don't Commit Adultery especially when you have a family that depends on you!
