Mercury Rise Intrubuster shoots 50J+. They did something with the internals. That told to cease and desist and NXWerks took their contract away from them. The PistelleX is rated only 35J as per their specs in the user manual and website.
@airgunnerreviews78882 ай бұрын
Yes NxWerks pulled the plug on the Intrubuster, I don’t know how the warranty will work since the company is stating they were taken out of the manufacturer without permission. I think the extra power may be attributed to the Grimburg projectiles and I also think companies are realizing they get much better feedback from KZbinrs when they understate the power!

I started to buy a pistelle x 68 yesterday but after doin some research on several channels there was a few issues, one, its only one magazine, no spares, two, there is a cheap bolt in air chamber that cant get much oil to it and its hard to get to so it might dry and break, and the screw cap issues, they use the same as salt s2 and mercury rise/lancer, they seem to leak after several twists and degases so i just purchased a 13 j gen2 hdr 50 revolver that comes with devestors and built in laser, i would only spend 400 plus on a firearm because if this breaks i would have wasted to much money.
@airgunnerreviews7888Ай бұрын
I had seen this video also. Almost every launcher except the Gavle comes with a stock aluminum firing bolt including Umarex and FSC, definitely not the quality of a steal bolt but will still hold up to the task for years. Most manufacturers use a silicone paste that is hand spread on bolt and 0-rings and I imagine depending on the person there may be more or less oil. I can’t speak for the bolt end cap but you do have a 12 month warranty and I recommend letting the professionals do the repairs and by the time your warranty has ended I’m sure there will be plenty of videos on safely removing the cap without stripping. The 0-ring on the C02 cap becomes dry and will lead to leakage and adding silicone will extend the life, I have owned the Salt for some time now and haven’t had an issue. It is a new product and certainly don’t blame your skepticism! I’m not convinced this launcher is going to hold up yet either!! We will have to keep watching and learning.

@@airgunnerreviews7888 Tru facts, decided to just to buy the HDR gen 2 13j off innovation web site, I don't want to take chances spending that much money on pistelette or instrubuster because the risk of air guns failing, Id say I'll spend that on a firearm or black powder gun, there probably much more reliable, I'm starting to see these less lethals fail more and more.

is using the extra round not a bad idea like you said it was with the Byrna because of ware?
@airgunnerreviews78882 ай бұрын
Byrna is different because when you squeeze the trigger the barrel travels and covers the projectile and the extra round adds additional pressure to the trigger gear. On the Pistelle the barrel is stationary. Of course most manufacturers do not recommend this practice! Bravo you really pay attention to details!

So is the byrna le a fraud in your opinion would you not buy it over Pistelle. This will be my first launcher. I was sold on the le, then I started watching all these videos and I don't know which direction to go. I definitely want a weapon thats ready to use at all times. So I know I can't get that with the grimburg gavle but that and this pistelle are the most powerful . If this was your first launcher what would you suggest?
@airgunnerreviews78882 ай бұрын
Honestly this is a tough question! If you’re looking for a pistol for home defense the Pistelle would be a great choice! For conceal carry there are takeaways on both. The LE has the pierce and shoot technology and in an extreme emergency it is the fastest to deploy and since the handle is shorter it conceals better and is also lighter. The Pistelle has some serious stopping power! But fast deployment is hindered by striking the C02 knob. Unfortunately the perfect less lethal pistol doesn’t exist yet! Good luck!!!

Average Joe Here: I went with the Bryna LE (12-15 Joules). Purchased the kit from Amazon. In the event I wasn't satisfied, it's a very easy return. Not cheap but I am not doing this on a whim or trying to save a few bucks. First I did my research and Byrna has been in the game for a while and focuses on Self-defense as opposed to the broader airgun/paintball or "hobby market". Anyway, tested mine with chalk (stand-in for pepper), hard rubber and aluminum glass breakers....and I can say that I would never want to be on the other side of the barrel, especially at ten yards or less. As a Mil Vet acquainted with many weapon types, this thing is the real deal. Once its set up, it's incredibly easy to use. I added an aftermarket under-barrel red dot/flashlight combo for the quickest point and shoot. If I need to use it, I want my assailant to just go away. I don't want the drama/trauma of potentially un-aliving someone....I want them to fu@k off and I want to be able to sleep at night.

Do you feel more safe with this or the Hatsan Velox semi auto PCP pistol?
@airgunnerreviews7888Ай бұрын
The Pistelle is much more compact and is around twice as powerful, the 68 caliber projectiles hit hard but don’t penetrate the skin like the pellets will so it is less liability. I really do like the Velox though it is really sharp looking!
@theFormidable1Ай бұрын
@airgunnerreviews7888 thanks for your feedback, although in a life or death situation don't you think penetration is key to take the fight out of a determined attacker and sustain the pain until they seek emergency medical attention? Don't you think a tough assailant would be able to brush off the pain from the pistelle's initial impact like other lower powered LTL?
@airgunnerreviews7888Ай бұрын
20 joules is only 15 fpe, the Velox is 11” long with the mag sticking out of the side so probably not good for conceal carry and there are much more powerful PCP’s for home defense! The 25 cal will put shallow holes but no blood force trauma and it may slow the attacker, of course going for the face with either weapon is a show stopper! The guy from Hard2Hit took a round from the Grimburg Gavle and it dropped him like a stone at 30 joules. Another thing to consider is the JSB 25 cal king heavy are 33.95 grain, a Grimburg 8 gram projectile is equal to 123 grain. Unfortunately some people don’t stop even when getting shot with a firearm with 450 fpe! Either way you choose I wish you safe travels!

You can purchase MrFizz 8 gram c02 off of Amazon which are cheaper and work fine but keep the Byrna 8 gram for self defense. @airgunnerreviews78884 күн бұрын
Respectfully I would have to disagree. The firing bolt and 0-rings are by far superior than what you would find in a factory FSC or Pepperball and my Pistelle came well greased from the factory when I removed the rear cap and I have had zero issues. The marker holds very consistent fps with no major jumps and offers one of the best trigger pulls I have tested to date and very accurate! IF I do run into an 0-ring issue I have already purchased the factory kit to swap out if needed. No other company has even come close to 50 jewels using a short barrel and 12 gram C02. I feel it is well designed and well made.
