here is my second use of my Mercury Rise Intrubuster, this time using 7.3 gram Aluminum balls, using yellow button xradar: FPS Joules 1 364 44.69J 2 362 44.20J 3 364 44.69J 4 362 44.20J 5 360 43.72J 6 360 43.72J Room temp was 71 degrees F. the Intrubuster is by far the LOUDEST LL launcher I have used. However, I got higher joule reading with the Grimburg JULs.

At their original price I would have got one but after it sold out I guess they said hey we got something here, lets jack the price up by $100. Anything in the $300 range or less I think is a good price point for a less than lethal, above that and might as well get a firearm in my view. Might as well get a shotgun which I can shoot non lethal as well as lethal rounds, but thats just me. That said the Mercury Rise Intrubuster is very impressive, far more than the Grimburg Gavle but is it nearly $500 impressive. But if you can’t own or don’t want a firearm then I think this is a great alternative.

you are def going to love it bro , we were both lucky to get one before they sold out and at its lower priced , i got a really good deal because of my being a vet . cant beat their products or company !!! so far my best test was with home defence -24 .68 cal aluminum balls , i am going to order some alien play ones to give it a try also !!! 388 FPS @ 52.17 joules !!!! i happened to be using crosman 12 gram co2 and the temp was in the early 90's ! t....he aluminum balls weigh 7.5 grams !!!!

52 joules with aluminum ammo thats impressive. When I get home later tonight I will try the 7.3gr aluminum ball ammo that I have, you got me curious how the intrubuster will perform.

i might add also , i just dont put a single drop of pure silicone oil on my co2 tube , before i shoot it ,especially for the first time , i put in my special break in and preventative mixture . its 1/3 silicone oil, 1/3 silicone grease and 1/3 silicone gel , the gel is plumbers stuff , the grease is electricians stuff i get at lowes or home depot , mix all three together , i put a good dab in the piercing cap before shooting , it will def give you a few more FPS plus lubricate it very well !!!

@@joesolo7719 bro i would trust any silicone based spray at home depot , just read the back of the can to see the ingredients , a dead give away also , it will say not to use near flame because it is flammable ? you will also see , along with silicone , it has some form of petroleum distillates mixed in as well . just think if you were to accidentally put some of that in a rifle or pistol that is hpa powered , you could and most def have an explosive situation , oil , petro , petro grease , etc. will explode under pressure like 3000 to 4500 , sound familiar ? lol , either pure oxygen or plain atmospheric air which contains , nitrogen 78 % , O2 -21% , and quite a few other things in trace amounts ! ever notice on welding/cutting torches , it says use no grease or oil any where near fittings ,rank ,hoses etc.? . ever notice the oring on a cars oil filter , thats special rubber , we need to have same type in our airguns lol !!! so bro unless it says 100% pore silicone oil , dont trust it .

@@rick31869 cool thanks for the long thought out reply. I have silicone spray but it's for garage doors, the brand is Blaster, and it says it's enhanced with Teflon. I didn't think Teflon would be good for my launchers so I told myself I'll just keep this for my garage door use

@@joesolo7719 i have some of that too , works great on doors ! i got same one ,it was cheap . i got it at home depot , but read the ingredients !!! .i love the teflon part especially . now here is a thought ,i think i would trust marvel mystery oil , i put in my gas tanks , oil and transmission fluid of the racecars, motorcycles !!! i had once . i also used it in air powered air tools . then marvel came out with an oil that was made solely for air tools , so maybe that would be the one to use , dunno . just like for everything else you can think of , teflon is awesome , you can treat all parts in markers ,with it , but i dont think rubber orings would benefit ,again dunno , but its worth investigating !!! . i am caustious about the intrubuster , i havent opened up yet , hey i figure why ,50j is plenty on co2 right , i can get almost 43 with hdp , all just using 12 gram co2 just like the MRIB uses ! did you get one yet ?

you should try my "break in silicone grease formula" ! launchers love it ! . the part that comes out the barrel is really called a liner , notice when you take it out , the metal barrel is there , so in reality , we could get different sized liners longer or tighter or both to screw in there , i almost shot a empty 12 gram co2 cpowerlet out of it today ,but didnt , was scared i would chip the threads lol , but it fits nicely though lol ! .today i went in garage , i have 2 boxes of 2000 JT Stinger paint balls ,they were bought in 2012/13 . there have harden some since then , today i took 50 out to the lake and shot them at all sorts of things to get some practice in without loosing my real ammo , it worked just as good as anything else , so if you find some old paintballs cheap somewhere buy them , especially the brand i have , i have a 1000 plus other types too , so yeah , i will be having some fun !!! 4,950 rounds will last me a couple of months lol ! .and they hit very hard !!!when they break on sonething they leave a 3 or 4 inch circle of very thick paint ! ... so with pepper balls , coat some several times with carpenters glue not elmers ,the good stuff , that should stiffen them up a bit !!! dude i should upload some videos on my channel ,been wanting too since 2010 lol !

Yeah it's a one magazine/one CO2 cartridge launcher. But considering the power it's putting out, if one magazine isn't enough to stop your attacker, you'd better be a fast runner 😂 I am disappointed that they raised the price a hundred dollars since last week so it's now the same price as its competition.

Im yet to get the instrubuster or pistelle x 68, there the same, but different names, ive been carrying my hdp 50 compact, its factory version, with 1.5 nylons pushing 11j, this 50j make the compact look like a toy, i got a few 15 to 20 j launchers, streetwise heat, etc but a lil to bulky, great review.

Just a heads up, Jon over at Alternate Arms Self Defense just informed us that there were only 100 Intrubusters. He talked to the head of the company and Mercury Rise will not be restocking them so you'll only be able to get the Pistelle X-68 from Mercury Rise now.

i dont get much credit for things these days lol , i hope i get this one , i have big news , the intrubuster has plus one capabilities , just carefully drop a single ball in , make sure its in the place it has to be , then slide your 6 shot mag in , there you go , your intrubuster now is ready with 7 shots instead of 6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey quick question, and hopefully LLC 24-7 can jump in too....would it help with FPS if say you took whatever ball ammo you are using, put them into a big zip lock bag, and sprayed some silicone oil into the bag and got the ball projectiles lubed? Then load your magazine with these lubed projectile balls? Would they slide and launch out faster, thus giving more FPS and joules? Sorry if it's a dumb question

@@joesolo7719 yes been proven time and time again !!!!!!!!! , use an empty medicine or vitamin bottle to do that in or other container , works better , and always do this for rubber type so they are not so sticky in the barrel etc. !
