I believe he overstepped his boundaries. He felt like he was Doctor death and he can put these people down. If it was once twice ok no problem, but 35 people, come on there's something going on here.

As a spectator that has watched many full trials on KZbin, this is the first I have wholeheartedly rooted for the defendant. The judge’s body language, countless inappropriate statements and overall demeanor has been very unprofessional and overwhelmingly biased. Is not the defendant innocent until proven guilty? It sure seems to me the judge has it turned around and places the burden of proof on the defense. Unfortunately, even with a not guilty verdict, the pain doesn’t end here. Dr. Husel’s reputation, his career and money spent on a great defense team will leave him broken and scarred for life. It’s all so sad. Thinking of you, Dr. Husel. If the day comes I have to make the decision to let a loved one pass, I can only pray to have a doctor as caring and empathic as you.

If he's found guilty, how will any doctors be able to administer comfort care before death anymore?
@deidreb.65402 жыл бұрын
Doctors that testified during the trial agree that the proper medication and dosage has always and will continue to be utilized during comfort care, i.e. drugs that promote breathing, aide in any discomfort relief and allow for a natural death. Use of a paralytic, along with massive doses of Fentynal has never been a practice. Hence, the one witness for the defense
@brittany62292 жыл бұрын
They had 45 witnesses on their list. It was cause the state (imo) did such a poor job on cross and when the defence got up again they objected every breath the defence took

Mt Carmel is such a crappy hospital system. The way they hung this doctor out to dry and then let the nurses take the brunt of mess as well is so disrespectful. On so many levels. I pray he is found NOT GUILTY! This is so wrong and terrible. Now prescribers and nurses will think twice before giving comforting medication to DYING PATIENTS. This is ridiculous. Healthcare is just going straight down the drain here in the USA, and it is because is frivilous cases such as this, which is hastening the overall demise. i am a nurse! and i hate to see the direction healrhcare is headed. 😪😪

Well don't look for a pain free death if this doctor is found guilty!
@patriciagrande3112 жыл бұрын
Whoever said that our deaths should be free of pain. I hope and pray to die in my bed without medical interference. My father had a heart attack at home, paramedics got his heart going, after three days in ICU we were told he was brain dead. Two doctors confirmed that he was brain dead. After, he was removed from life support, he lived for three more days, proofing he was not brain dead. He received the last sacraments of the Church. He spent the last days of his life with his wife, children and grandchildren. No tubes, minimal medical interference. He died in peace the way God intended. My mother died peacefully in her bed, no one to interfere with that last moment. That moment which we all live for, many say the most precious moment of ones life. He took that moment from these and maybe more people even if that was not his intent.

The amazing witness they had was a doctor specializing in anesthesia who volunteered to do this pro bono! Oh and he's also vehemently against euthanasia and the lethal injection. With the state not proving their case and this one witness, they didn't need anything else.

@amandasummers78812 жыл бұрын
@@melaniel7121 so you feel that just because Casey Anthony killed her daughter ( I do to) and Baez represented her, that he is full of himself? Well I would argue pretty much every criminal attorney is full of himself to some extent, but I don't get that vibe with him. As much as it sucks that he was her attorney, that doesn't mean at all that he shouldn't receive respect....as there still is (for now) something In America called due process and the right for attorney representation. A defense attorney isn't inherently bad--they have a job to do and make a living like everyone else. And truly the defense has nothing to do with the blame or innocence of his client---thats up to the jury to determine. By the way ---youre still in 2007 or whenever Anthony was on trial, so you're allowing your hatred towards Casey flow over into hatred towards Baez. It's not a logical or happy way to live.
