Rubber tracks are the future. Cheaper, easier maintenance, operational flexibility and mobility. Steel cannot beat it. As long as they can prove that the wear and tear on the rubber is minimal over a sufficient amount of kilometers, they have the golden goose.

For those who say this has no place on a battlefield : maybe you're right. But these could be *very* advantageous for peacetime mobility, training, military shows, road driving etc.

Can single links be changed on these tracks?

No it's monolithic, like a car tire. Bu it is a definite disadvantage in this regard to not be able to carry segments of track within the vehicle ready to replace damaged sections on the spot in the field instead of waiting for an entire new tread segment to show up to your location who knows when, that scenario is a real unaddressed problem.

There was some publicity, possibly 18 months back, about repairs to damaged rubber tracks. Your could visit the Soucy website to look for company videos on that subject.
