This thing with the HEAT 551 C RS rocket type can baisiacly destroy any 8x8 vehicle or lower and trackes vehicles. It is insane how a 84mm does that much dammage and is under 7kg.

Weight only 7 kg, when I where in the army back in the late 80’s the M2 versions weight where around 14 kg. Soldiers today have gone weaker, they can’t carry that much weight 😂

@@vemundr9263 lol the Brits don't even use the .280. most countries choose more rounds over power. However the US ARMY is trying to adopt a 6.8x51 that would hold 20 rounds mag like 7.62 NATO but give much better range and power

What's its highest armor penetration & at what distance? Because I assume an 83mm (even tho it has a lot of energy since it's kinetic) cant pen over 900mm of rolled spaced armor, so no main battle tank hunting. But everything and everyone elts in cars or in buildings small arms are ineffective against are toast

This is more for adding a low cost 7kg anti armor capability to your grunts. Tanks are best to take out from far away, preferably with missiles.

Pzf 3 still has much higher armor penetration than the Carl-Gustaf. The warheads fired from the Carl-Gustaf have 84 mm caliber, the warheads fired from the Pzf 3 have 110 mm caliber. However there is indeed a Pzf 3 successor in the works. It doesen't seek to improve performance over the Pzf 3 but rather have the same performance in a smaller package (3 kg lighter). It's called RGW 110.

Took something made great by its simplicity and ruined it. 14 types of Ammunition and where will you find that in the field. KORNET 1 type of Round kills everything. New Rpg rounds designed the same 2 rounds to remove anything on the field.

Still not a tank weapon by any mean. BMP or BTR hence even some modern APCs. Yet even a T-72M from the side is a tough nut for the Carl-Gustaf.

Don't know if you understand how fucked you are when you make tank crew pissed. Search for the opinions of people that use those in real conflict situations. A measure of any given mm of RHA is mismatched in every single modern warfare used to penetrate armor. Weather the target is a tank an APC or a tracked IFV. RHA penetration indicator is used because there have to be some points of reference. Any points. "Carl-Gustaf multi-purpose grenade launcher may be utilized along with a wide variety of ammunition, including the tandem-warhead HEAT 751 projectiles, capable of penetrating the ERA. Projectiles that may be used to strike targets protected by obstacles, to neutralize the infantry or the fortifications, or light armored vehicles, are also available."

are those tools outside are made from plastic?! wtf :( here are too much corners and holes wich make dificult for maintenance. put all electronics in one small container and ouside to be smooth and metallic, protected from moisture, dust, electronics to work on temperature from -30 to +50 grade Celsius. Make it simple and practically for use. At war is not important the beauty but durability. For fighting enemy infantrys shoot range must not be less than the range of enemy infantry rifles, and the rage of munition for fighting enemy apc must not be less than 3000m, anti tank munitions must have range over 5000m.

Russia sacrificed way more during the second world war. Occupies way less foreign territory and extracts way less wealth from their partners. Better a good neighbor then a far 'friend'.
