It's exactly these small battles that win the war. Get that into their heads early and you'll have PLAYERS in no time.

As a former D man...this is excellent teaching of proper technique. Coach is 100% spot on. Make the wing go wide to the boards. Your partner should be covering the middle of the ice to cover a pass.

Awesome coaching. In rugby its like pushing them out towards the sideline, basically giving them only one to go

Like what your teaching coach.. Important stuff young guys... Always keep em outside, makes it easier to create turnover, or end the play. 🚨👍

Guy is a really great coach. Jacob doesn't see the game like AAA player. Maybe single A w time. Long as everyone is having fun right

This dude probably could coach up top. But he is VERY detrimental in developing these kids game. I have a feeling that we'll be hearing his name in the thank you list of a few guys in the league some 5-10 years from now.

It’s too bad USA Hockey can’t figure this stuff out, if you don’t get stick on stick and don’t attempt to play the puck, it’s a penalty 😔
