I only have the top portion of the mechanism. Where only batteries. But I can still hit the reset with a nail. And all works accept the 123456

I followed the instructions to reset but when I enter the 123456 it does not work and beeps red when I try it

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that. Try resetting the lock again -- you should hear a long and short beep, confirming the reset is successful. Next, enter the default Master Code to set the door handing detection. If it still doesn't work, it looks like the installation is incorrect. Try removing the interior assembly, then reinstall it and make sure the Thumbturn is in the vertical position (and the latch bolt retracted) while reinstalling it. Try resetting the lock again and setting the door handing detection. It should work fine now. Edit: If your batteries are old, try replacing them with new ones.

Yes. Follow these steps to mute your lock: .Press the SET button to put the lock in Programming Mode. Enter your Master Code and press the Lock button. Press 6, 0, and press the Lock button. Press 0 and press the Lock button to turn the beeper sound off.

Mine unlocks without the code needed to be entered. What’s going on?

@@leandroaldana4631 This usually happens if the bolt direction determination wasn't completed after installation. To fix this issue, reset the lock (I've explained how to do that in this video). Next, perform the bolt direction determination. To do this, enter the default Master Code -- 123456 and wait 10 seconds. The latch bolt will extend and retract to complete the bolt direction determination. Another reason for this issue is that the lock was installed with the thumbturn in the horizontal position -- this is incorrect. You can try to fix this by removing the interior assembly from the door. Then reinstall the lock and make sure you keep the thumbturn in the vertical position. Hope this helps.
