Great video. I’m moving the lock to a different door but it’s a different swing. How do I change the lock unlock direction? On the new door hitting the lock button opens the lock. Thanks!

+Edmund Mendez Most brands make them for deadbolt, but I have only seen a few electronic locks for the regular door locks and they are expensive.

Oh, I solved it. I just entered the default master code WHILE the electronic component was not inserted into that slot. Then I think it was finally able to complete the installation. Then I tried pressing the lock button, and it started locking, which wasn't possible before. It also helps to make sure that when you lock it, you have to hear a click sound and then try to push it with your fingers to make sure it doesn't move, which means it's working.

Hello, I had this deadbolt for a year in the garage were the locks are in the right side. My new home in the garage door locks are in the left side now. How can you reset it so it can figure out which way to turn? As of now it's turning the opposite way.

Remove one battery and put it back in while holding down the lock button. It will re-calibrate itself and then beep and you're all set.

remove the batteries and reinstall 3 of them, as you install the last one press the reset button and release it after the long beep.

In the summertime when the weather is VERY hot my deadbolt doesn't detract completely inside during the unlock. When it's cool/cold weather it always detracts. How can I fix it so it works as it should during the hot weather. I live in the south so there is also high humidity in the hot time.

I have installed the keypad. But the problem is everytime I do the instruction to get a new master code, everytime I enter the default mastercode and then press the lock button it's always making the lock go out and in and out and in. It never gives a me a chance the change the master code. What do you think it is? I tried contacting the manufacturer and all they did was try to walk through the steps with me, which was useless. Never tried to tell me what the problem was and how to solve it.

I think you will find the lock will work that out for itself in the setup, just as mentioned in the video after the code 123456 was entered.

Flip the lock upside down inside the housing( it fits in both ways) and anytime there's an arrow pointing that says up make it point down.

However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

You should get the new cylinder re-keyed to your old lock so that you don't need to make a bunch of new keys

I just figured it out .. press red button , enter program code, press lock, 1+ 0 lock , once you do that program your NEW PROGRAM CODE, this will replace the default 123456 code. when you press 2+0 thats how you add additional codes to either existing or new program code. hope that helps
