The ol' girl is named after a few events and recurring themes in my life that revolve around the word "Defiant". She's also equally named after the Starship Defiant from Deep Space Nine. The latter being the easiest to explain 😁

You should use the DC adaptor when running the fridge of a portable powerstation. Its mor efficient then using the AC converter.

I was wondering how loud the compressor is when running. Have you measured how many decibels it emits? I have the AJ40, and it seems to run rather loudly (~50-60dB).

It's not very loud but no, I've never measured the decibels. I don't use it anymore, as I've replaced it with a dual zone unit.
