Linus won't even be a great leader either. He thrives on people's vulnerability and ignorance.

Leadership isn't about titles. It's about influence. Someone or something is ALWAYS influencing your youth for example. The loud & crazy too often shut out the quiet & thoughtful.

Every elected official in Nigeria is referred to as a leader and every leader in Nigeria who is elected is considered to be a politician. This is totally wrong. Like the guest has just suggested leadership in the country is at a level from government, corporation, community and family. All you hear Nigerians talk about is bad leadership in the country and when this happens their focus is on the politicians which totally wrong. The ordinary person in Nigeria when he or she votes for a candidate does not know the differences between a politician and a leader but we votes for somebody known to them one way or the order. One of the reasons the ordinary person in Nigeria is putting all the blames of the hardship in the country on Tinubu is because they do not understand some of the leadership skill he posses to have been able to get to where is today. Tinubu is a leader that posses almost every thing the guest has just described by the common on the street will not acknowledge any of them because they want the changes is making to bring about the desired outcome overnight. Tinubu is a man who has a vision for the country and he knows for him to turn the country around he must make tough decisions whether they are popular or not because he is looking at both the short-term and long-term impact. Nigerians voted for him because he demonstrated that he is a leader with vision judging with the long term vision he has about Lagos State. Nigerians thought he could make such change in the nation which is totally impossible. The chnage has to be gradual. People who have worked the president in the past can probably related to some of the characteristics of a leader as described by the guest on this program. Can a leader necessarily be a good politician and can good politician necessarily be a good leader? There has to be a combination of both to be a president or any leadership position in politics. Based on what the current president has gone through out his career both in the corporate and political world, you can almost say he has both and hence his approach to solving the problem of the country are based on the past experiences. All Nigerians are seeing is what is happening right now but none of the leadership quality that has enable him to pilot the country under difficulties existing in the country. A leader focus on solving problems and since Tinubu became the president he has not had a moment of celebration. A leader leads people and not being led by people and this is the difference can be the difference between a good and bad president. As suggested by the guest when elections are over with, it is time to govern and leaders whether they win an election or not will continue to be leaders but in Nigeria until you are elected to be a the president anyone else that is there is a bad leader. The reason why some people who consider themselves to be leaders don't win election is because they are not effective politicians as well. Nigerians, therefore must have knowledge of the differences between a leader and a politician in order to make choices as to who they vote for to govern them.

Tinubu doesn't have compassion for people. Tinubu doesn't place value on human beings rather he places value on the few people who would help him achieve his personal goals. He doesn't place value on competence and that's why Nigeria is groaning under his rule.
