Yep, that's 4c hair. I've learned in my natural journey that if you want definition PLENTY of product has to be used daily unless you're cool with rocking a tight dry afro.😩

Great to see so many women claiming christ as their lord and savior. I wanted to leave some scriptures about the one church. Ephesians 4:4-5: There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call- 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Colossians 1:18 tells us what the body is- And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. The body is the church and the church is the body. So the right church home is the one that Christ died for, the one that can be found in the bible. Romans 16:16- Salute one another with a holy kiss the churches of Christ salute you. The church of christ is the one true church, God bless you.

Love the video girl! 🗣🗣 there is a difference between curl pattern and texture people. Most 4c hair KZbinrs have coarse texture but there is a such thing as a silky 4c and we always get left out. Also porosity makes a difference because 4c hair can be defined but needs to be super moisturized to have this definition which is hard when your super low porosity the products do not easily go into the stand to create that definition it just sits on top for example i went to nappy fu wash n go that played right after this and saw the LOC process sitting on top of the strand when she applied them

John Doe the hair typing is for the curl size. Her hair curls and is more reminiscent of 4a/4b.. she probably has a higher porosity (not high, just higher than low) as well since her hair absorbed the products so well.

My dear beauty, I have exactly your hair type. My hair gets super defined curls the moment it hits water, conditioner or moisturing cream. The different between 4c and 4b hair is that 4c looks like cotton when in contact with water but 4b hair becomes very well defined curls when in contact with water.. believe me I had thought in the past that I was 4c but no I was told that I am 4b. Spritz water on your clean hair without products and see how your hair would react. That's when you will know if you have 4c or 4b. Simple experiment

Edith Wrilliyana, SO TRUE!!! When did they come up with this "type" system anyways? All any girl can really do is try a product or a method and see if it works for her hair. But to not try something because it's not your "type" of hair is such a mistake. I remember an older black lady telling me she would NEVER put balsam in her or her daughters' hair because balsam was for white people. I had been using balsam for years and it had done wonders softening and detangling my hair! Boy, did she and her daughters miss out on a good thing!!
@jelicianorwood247 жыл бұрын
I agree. All our hair is beautiful just have to keep it moisturize
@victoriae4417 жыл бұрын
Edith Wrilliyana ,there is no need for you to be critical. Lewa specifying her hair type helps people with the similar curly patterns that have extreme shrinkage (type 4) figure out a good way to elongate our curls. Porosity and density are important, that’s why she constantly encourages people to find products that work for their hair because everyone’s hair is different. She also emphasized this at the end when she said everyone’s curls aren’t going to come out like hers.

@Jayariee6 жыл бұрын
Then hunni your hair isn't 4c. Just because your dry hair looks like it doesn't have much curls doesn't make you 4c. It could just be the environment surround your hair. This girl clearly has crotchet needle size s curls (4a) and z curls (4b). Look on people like chizi duru and vivian Jamaica (two totally different 4c hair) , no matter what they do, they won't have this size coil because 4c curls/waves are either extremely tight/small or almost straight looking . They will get definition but not the texture or coil/curl size seen here

Majority of your hair is 4a not 4c 4a curls are size of pensprings 1/8th of an inch in diameter 4c curls are 1/16th of a inch in diameter which is extremely small. A real 4c KZbinr is ProtectivePrincess her 4c curls defined are way smaller. So many people confuse 4a curls with 4c. Technically all of them frizz up and puff but the curl sizes are different.

Thank God for you. I'm transitioning and the thickness of my hair is scaring me. All other methods I saw on youtube leave you with a white soggy head. I can't go to work like that.

Thank you so much for this video! I didn't think this was possible on 4c hair! Definitely trying it. Quick one though, it is ok to add gel for extra hold?

This is not 4c hair but 4b with some 4a there may be some 4c in it to but definently not 4c hair

It is 4c, but easier to achieve with longer hair. I wouldn't see any curls on my hair either when it was shorter, now I just run into strands of defined curls when I'm detangling it.
@SeduceNScheme6 жыл бұрын
I disagree. That’s 4c all day.

Maureen Wahu well my sister has 4c hair down her back and I have tried multiple times to define hers with multiple methods and it doesn’t look like that🤷🏾♀️idk Maybe it’s because the porosity and hair density difference.

Omgg you are literally the first KZbinr that I have seen with the exact same hair type as mine and with longer hair! Im so happy I found you #RepresentationMatters #4CGanga Ps: Those in the comments saying that you dont have 4c hair are insane, it literally doesn’t get much more kinkier than this. Also...the level of shrinkage says it all.
@treeve137 жыл бұрын
yall this is not 4c... you need to zoom in to see 4c curls, you can see those curls from a distance. 4c hair can be defined, but it won't look like that.

SBLACKW C Your acting like 4c hair can’t be defined well guess what THATS 👏🏾 4c 👏🏾 HAIR PERIODT not no 4a or 4b 4a would be way looser maybe a little bit of 4b but I still see 4c and just because it’s defined doesn’t mean it’s not 4c because when I define my 4c hair it looks 4a
@indigorosefield5 жыл бұрын
@@nelly5054 it can be defined but it can't be that loose. My hair is tighter than hers but it's still not 4c. 4c doesn't have a clear consistent patter. Although most hair has a mix of different textures, 4c is almost completely mixed in with different patterns of hair but each pattern is more of a zig zag with a few actual curls. Look it up. Also if your hair looks like 4a then it is 4a. People can get confused about texture because when we wash our hair it looks like it 4c when it isn't. Once the curls have been defined then you are able to tell your actual pattern. And yours is 4a my friend.

@@nelly5054 it can't. Let it go. She isn't 4C.
