FNAF plus is part of the Fanverse Initiative, where Scott Cawthon (the creator) united developers of famous fangames of the franchise and helped them to develop new fangames set on their own universes and they have permission to make merchandise and import the games to other platforms and have profit with them, and fnaf plus is a reimagining of the first game with updated graphics and its set in it's own universe

Fnaf lore is really dark but the official series by scott never really expanded much on it, community projects such as this one do however. The main story of fnaf is about how a serial killer lures children into the backrooms of the pizza place and murders them and then stuffs their bodies inside the animatronic suits which is never really explored in the main games (aside from help wanted which funnily enough has one of the best horror scenes in the entire series.) With that knowledge the song at the end where it's talking about being stuck behind a closed door and telling you to close your eyes is disconcerting to say the least. I recommend Sound response check by Baddington as one of the single scariest pieces of fnaf content to date and followed by that would be the Walten Files even though it's not directly fanf related.

You should look at the Battington tapes, they’re a couple of Fan-made FNAF videos that are genuinely unsettling and creepy, even more than the games themselves in my opinion

FNAF Plus is part of the Fazbear fanverse Initiative, a program that Scott initiated so that 5 different fangame creators can actually earn money off of their fangames. Because ever since 2014, there have been... Thousands of FNAF fangames, and Scott is usually pretty chill with it, aslong as you don't make have it to where you make money from it, by that I mean if you have to buy the game or if it has ads, he's fine. But this Initiative which contains 5 very iconic fangame series, which includes The Joy Of Creation which is a meta take where the FNAF animatronics haunt Scott Cawthon, Five nights at candy's which is a FNAF fangame where the enemy is candy the cat, popgoes which is confusing to talk about, one night at Flumptys which is a parody starring "Flumpty bumpty", and ofcourse, FNAF+. This allows these 5 creators to make money off their games, some will maybe even get merchandise. I for one can't wait for FNAF Plus being this dark and gothic retelling of the first game. Let me know what you think about this Initiative.

Wendigoon, a month ago, made a video explaining the plot of the whole series. Not something to respond to, as it's an hour and a half long, but fascinating to listen to while you do something else. Scott Cawthon did a damn good job for making most of the series by himself. And he's improved with each game, unlike the Flappy Bird guy, who took the money and ran.

I know a couple of other people have already explained, but Five Nights at Freddy's Plus is essentially a non-canon remake of the first game, with updated graphics, and set in its own continuity. But it's officially approved by Scott Cawthon, and is part of the Fazbear Fanverse initiative, along with a bunch of other games made by FNAF fan game developers, so I guess this would be an OFFICIAL unofficial game?

Really hyped for FNAF plus due to it essentially being a remake of the original game with brand new mechanics. Also I'd recommend checking out the FNAF vhs series by squimpus mcgrimpus, they tell the story in a way the games never did and that's what makes them great. Although Battington remade a few of the tapes and made them 3x as terrifying as the original ones.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames technically an upgrade but with extra stuff added, if you ever react to him, the pirate cove preshow is the most disturbing of the bunch. Battington also made some original FNAF tapes, my favorite being Susie and her wounded dog'

19:58 I'm not sure if anyone clarified what that was sitting on the table yet, but in the 1st FNAF game, when you ran out of power or got jumpscared, the animatronics would stuff you inside of a Freddy Fazbear suit which would ultimately suffocate you and there were wires and metal in there squeezing you so you would just die of suffocation anyways but it just took time to die. Wearing the head would made it worse. You would see that image at that "GAMEOVER" screen. In the call you would get from Phone Guy on the first night said that the animatronics would do that to you because they would think you're a naked endoskeleton which would scare the kids, but the FNAF community does not believe that. No one in the FNAF community believes the Phone Guy because the whole Fazbear corporation hides a lot of things so why believe something like that. Sorry for the rant but I thought I would share just in case you were wondering what was on the table. I hope you're having a good day/night :D

I'm a little late to watching your reaction on this but just like to point out some stuff - On 3:33, everytime the animatronic's eyes shuts, you can see that there's another pair of eyes inside the suit. I'm not sure if that clip was before or after the child disappearences, but to me it's seems that those are the eyes of the missing children whose body was stuffed inside the animatronics. - There are hints that it was a child who break in the establishment, you can see childish drawings, a misspelled "Misteries" (11:37), and "Dad's Camera" (11:43) written on their sketchbook.

Long story short, this was made because a guy didn't like where FNAF were heading, so he just made this, making it more horror focused, and giving it a new fresh coat of paint... This is a slow burn with a good pay out, no unnecessary jumpscares, just pure terror and dread, that kind of fear you feel in the pit of your stomach... That kind of fear that absolutely terrifies you, no amount could ever reach it without a good build up...

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames the first chapter can be 8 minutes long or 30 minutes if you know what to do however if it’s your first time it can take up to 2 hours the second one has taken some people 2-3 hours on there first time and even if you do know what your doing it takes you an hour so yeah your decision of course
