As of now, they are confirmed to be canon, and so are the mk11 ending. One of the writers for the story or something said that all the endings (mk11 and 1 at least) are canon.

I like all these endings and they seem to be canonical prologues, setting up each character for the next game. Some of these connect to eachother and no ending conflicts with one another. I am really looking forward to the next game with these set of characters.

I mean I hope Smoke is Hanzo's primary mentor though Scorpion would also need to mentor Hanzo to cool his anger. Why Smoke to be the primary mentor? Scorpion has a lot going on already: grandmaster, husband and potentially father to be. While Smoke isn't touched much upon.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames and you definitely will need to. all the intros for one character alone is a LOT and I haven't seen a master video of all the dialogues together without accidentally repeating intros. Plus, sticking with one character at a time really keeps things more cohesive, even if there was a single, comprehensive, and well organized video on all of them.

I really hope that her death isn't one of those things but you have to check out the Scorpion Invasion story and give a prediction.

Raidens ending was pretty awesome. Plus it’s understandable. Almost like he was robbed of something. Knowing that you was once a god and now human can make your mind wonder a lot. Knowing his past rage can help master it and balance out his humbleness. Which is why it makes even more sense for Kuai Liang to be made Scorpion in this timeline by Liu Kang. Kuai knows how to control his anger as seen in the Dragon King Army temple

Soooooo I'm assuming Havik's ending is the early beginnings of the Chaos Realm. It's not mentioned anywhere in the game and since Havik's the only major character from Chaos Realm I don't see why it would exist. Also water was sacred to people of the Chaos Realm back in Deception so maybe rain drowning Seido was a reference to that

In MK1, Havik is not from Chaosrealm, he's actually Dairou from Seido/Orderrealm. With Seido thrown into anarchy, combined with the character intro banter, it's clear that Seido will become Chaosrealm. He even mentions that Hotaru and other Seidan survivors are being sheltered in Outworld. I'd love to see them in a DLC or next game!

@@flashfoxful Yeah my friend told me about that. I honestly think it's an alright change as Dairou was kinda repetitive in the Midway Era. We already had Darius who represents the resistance and Hotaru who represents the realm's government so Dairou didn't really add much. I do hope this is a plot point if they do an Aftermath style DLC, mostly because I know NRS will drop it otherwise (Like they did with Dark Raiden holding an MK Tournament in Outworld or a story involving the Great Kung Lao)

The funny thing about this game's ending compared to others, these endings are all canon epilogues to the story, rather than "What if's" in previous titles. So intros in the game, and story DLC and sequels will and do continue off of these.

I wanted to ask if you would consider doing a tier list on all your thoughts/opinions on the MK1 characters. I’d love to know what you think of all the characters and if some of these new renditions changed your opinions on the character overall. The new Reptile and Baraka definitely made me appreciate/like them more than before.

Now that you've seen the main story and the tower endings, there are two more things you should react to because now they will make sense. The first being the story for the Scorpion Invasion season (it's really just the intro cinematic for this alt timeline scorpion invading and how it's resolved) and all the intro dialogues. I don't wanna spoil things but it has stuff that references Rain's remorse and desire for atonement, for example. And relationships and character info you wouldn't expect. Anyways, like you two, I loved these endings and can't wait to see what more stories coming with new Invasions and dlc.

They’ll also show piles of dead MK characters that Omni Man has decimated. As for Homelander, he would turn Outworld into the new Vaught or become the new king of Outworld.

It's sad that the compilation cuts/trims out the bloodier stills, easy to tell if it's trimmed if the scene has subtitles or not or recycled images. But I understand why MKIceAndFire did this to avoid demonization. But yeah they did an amazing job with the character's endings, like you said intertwining them and showing the characters both score wins and losses and learning a lesson from that loss

I will never get over the fact how they did Hanzo so dirty. Gave his rival for years ( Kui Kiangs Sub Zero ) his wife, Kui took his identity and his powers and they just made him an orphan that trains under the person that stole his whole character. Actually dumb whoever wrote this, and weird that Ed Boon went with it as well since Scorpion is his favorite character.
