Easily the best worlds! Really wished Faker could claim legend status but the storyline of DRX making it through play-ins, through groups then into the final and coming back from 2-1 down just tops everyone's expectations. Can't help but feel happy for DRX.

nah this worlds was boring as fuck tbh yeah finals were good but everything else was way to predicatble and boring NA and EU both sucked complete dick so the second rogue lost to JDG both NA and EU didn't have any teams left therefore its just another year op LPL vs LCK which makes the entire event kinda repetetive because this happens nearly every year. i feel like an asshole kinda to be complaining but looking at worlds as a whole i really do have to disagree its *the best worlds*

I was at worlds live last night, that last game made me scream and yell so much, I couldn't stop the tears from coming out. I've been a fan of him ever since I was in fourth grade in season 4 and it was so insane for a 4th seed team to beat every team, who had the time to study them before the best of fives.

I think SKT just lost with the team comp. It was hard to play a game with no initiation. Oner played well. Guma with the crazy baron steal. Kingen got fed early on. Faker in my opinion held pretty well after getting camped and gave 2/3 kills to Zeka. It was just unfortunate that the team comp was not the best. DRX cinderella was amazing. I am a T1 and Faker fan but DRX winning this game was well deserved. GG

@@samwisehuluberlu2210 I think you never saw the games from that tournament, my friends and I discussed this and unanimously agreed that Aatrox was too strong that patch due to the antihealing being nerfed and only going up to 40% of griveous wounds and the fact Aatrox had a build which allowed him to heal almost entirely with 1 passive basic attack and a Q. (Just as a note before you start saying I do not know shit about the game, my friends and I played competitively for our college and ranked from diamond 3 all the way to challenger)

I claim than you have nothing more than Iron reasonning, watching every game of both teams 10 times (and i talk about entire DRX run, all LCK year + PO + RQ + play-ins+ Worlds integral). Almost same for T1. Reducing T1 defeat as "just ban Aatrox" is just utterly bs. Period. So no need to trying overhype yourself and your friends hidding behind wind. If Aatrox was that broken, everyone had the right to use it. Narratives about Kingen/Aatrox need to stop. T1 were overwhelmed practically everywhere on the map and on every aspects of the game (macro, micro, teamfights, decisionmaking around objectives) and had their miracle surviving ended after 5 games of stolen drakes, barons and more around DRX. What about Caitlyn? What about Zeka gapping the hell out of Faker? What about all Pyosik ganks on the toplane making Aatrox atrociously fed without even reaching midgame? What about lesson Beryl gave to Keria around shotcalling. How Deft destroyed Guma on every mid/late game and teamfight despite playing weakside vs full prio botlane pushed by Karma? How Deft and DRX staff broke T1 one single ban phase after gaving away Lux for baiting Cait as answer on decisive game 5? That is kind of questions competitives colleagues would have really thrown out, not about short-track of primar Iron thinking made possibly by some random first viewer around LOL "aAtroX is too broken". You prefered see Zeka on his Akali maybe? It would have been wayyyyy worst for T1. And that is the thing. Any of DRX players able to play solidly all kind of pockets picks gave T1 headaches (like every other teams crossing DRX path) about who ban and who give him his comfort. T1 gave Aatrox to DRX because they thank it was the less worst choice for them and also allowing them to pick what they thinking at time being best comp for them. That's it. And they were absolutely right to do. But DRX just played these mindgames better.
