I must say that I do miss Chi but I really think by the time Diamond Eyes came out they really perfected their live performance. (I know this is like right before it but still) I saw them on the Diamond Eyes tour and it was INSANE steph was running a full size sub on stage so when he'd play those meaty 8 string notes you could feel it in your chest. Whole room was like a sonic boom for the intro of Now You've Seen The Butcher. Also saw them recently on Koi No Yokans tour cycle and got to sing the slow section of Bored with Chino on the barrier. He also saw and acknowlaged my huge deftones forearm tat. Incredible night!

Been my favorite band for 15 years now which was when I discovered them. You know when you find a band that was just made for you....this is mine. I was kid when I found Deftones and so many others I liked back then have disappeared but I still feel the same listening to a song now that I did then. Brilliance.

I really think they went extra hard for Chi here in the still recent wake of his absence. This is one of my favorite post-Chi Deftones shows for that reason, you can really feel the energy and emotion pouring out from them, it just feels like one of their most powerful shows, glad it got filmed. This is probably the closest Chico, has sounded to how he does in the studio to be honest. Plus the sound levels, and quality on this recording is really good definitely better then most live Deftones performances which is great because we don’t see that much it’s usually crap quality or the sound levels suck. This is great upload thank you.

For Minerva? The guitar is tuned to Db Ab Db Gb Bb eb (Drop D and half a step down). So the bass is either tuned to that or BEAD.
