@11cylynt112 жыл бұрын
It's funny that Chino used to joke calling Linkin Park "Boy-Band Metal." Then 20 yrs later Mike Shinoda of LP is relegated to remixing an EDM version of a song written by Chino. Shinoda then wins a Grammy for said remix. Of which Chino does NOT get a Grammy for. Even though Chino wrote a large portion of the song. Revenge is a dish best served 20 yrs later. Patience is a virtue. I love Deftones and Linkin Park. I'm just joking BTW. But Chino did actually call LP "Boy-Band Metal" in an interview, which I thought was funny even though I like LP.😅

Start showing it to her! My uncle (I don't have a father) used to play his faves to me since I was 5 yrs old and would discuss it with me seriously, as if I was a grown lady, haha! That was so flattering to me as a little girl:) And even to this day - I'm 23 now - I cherish those memories and love every second of most of the music he showed me! And you know what else is interesting? If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't even know about those bands, and even if I did, I'm not sure I would love them as much as I do now! Perhaps it's nostalgia, perhaps it's those early neuron connections that bind me to this type of rather unusual sound, perhaps it's both... But yeah, here you go:) It's in your power to make it happen, and I wish you that your daughter inherits your great taste in music and love for Deftones :)
