Defunct Otis Series 5 elevator & EPIC MOTOR on the Kone KSS 370 elevator + EPIC REACTION!

Filmed on January 18, 2015: This elevator here also got the outside doors repainted to black and same on the MPE. This is a basic elevator as well but this thing got to have THE BEST MOTOR I'D EVER HEARD!!!!! for a hydraulic. Notice how this elevator pars on 2 automatically and the doors don't open unless you select a floor. Also, listen to that EPIC laughing reaction from 2 people into my elevator photography at the end! :D

Sad to see an elevator only about 10 years old at most broken for years and not fixed. The Kone elevator goes up to 2 after idling on floor 1, because it parks there. 4:51 Notice that the indicator changed to 2 before the doors even completely closed! I have seen Schindler hydraulic elevators with MT fixtures having the indicator change before the elevator starts moving, but not before the doors close.

Will the Dun Huang parking garage elevator ever be fixed? or are they just to cheap to fix it and they're leaving it to rot? Also weren't their a lot of schindlers at dun huang plaza? Interesting. I'm sorry to see it go. Seems that after OTIS being acquired by United Technologies, they don't hold any interest in maintaining relatively old (and much more reliable, for sure) equipment anymore. They seem to be rushing their new products to market and very quicky phasing out the older ones. A shame, really.

@Virginian Toilets And Restroom Tours I do elevator videos because I'm in a wheelchair, and they literally gave me from Point A to point B in my every day life. When I was younger back in first grade in elementary school are used to be terrified of elevators because I always had a fear I'm getting stuck in a elevator. But now that I've learned about how they work and what companies and models are out there I find it very fascinating, that's when I started my channel in March 2013.

on the Dover custom impulse in the courthouse where i live wait 30 seconds and the elevator desends to the basement and goes into sleep mode so once it starts desending the buttons no longer work even on the basement
