Only the properties that didn't have any sort of cultural impact are ignored in these experiments like Oliver and Company, Great Mouse Detective, their pre-Tangled CGI movies.

Thank you for this video. I was among the original audience for both this show and "Welcome to Pooh Corner", and while I have very fond memories of both, I haven't heard either of them talked about since, even by my fellow early-'80s children in full nostalgia mode. Getting to watch your episodes on them has been a very nice stroll down memory lane. Cheers!

This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. They really need to put this on plus, I was actually hoping it would be included when I purchased it, as well as the alladin animated series. Thanks for making this! Well done.

Oh man, have I ever been waiting for this! I watched it all the time when I was a kid, then forgot about it for like 20 years aside from occasionally humming the theme to myself and wondering what show it came from. Then it just suddenly sprang back to memory a couple years ago. Same with Pooh Corner.

The next episode on Disney Channel shows just has to be “The Secret Life of Toys,” right? I’ve got probably at least 10-15 episodes of Dumbo’s Circus myself. We recorded a lot of Disney Channel free previews from 1992-1996.

Just saw this today, amazing work documenting all this. Had NO idea this show is classified as lost media, which breaks my heart considering I grew up with it. For years now, I've had this one line from a random song in the show baked into my brain ("I like to play...my concertiiina, so I can sing, my happy song....", possibly sung by Sebastian) and part of me hopes its in one of the still-preserved eps. Because the alternative would be...well, how would YOU feel remembering part of a song that no longer exists?

Another staple of my childhood. I never realized how many eps there was of this series, or that it was lost media.

Dang, I totally remember this show (and Pooh Corner and the Raccoons, if ever there was a show that could use a DefunctTV episode, its The Raccoons). It's another one of those shows I watched for about only about 6 months in the early early 90s when my family happened to have the Disney Channel for a very brief window. I really remember the closing theme and its visuals specificity.

I have four ideas for future episodes: Out of the Box, Stanley, Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child, and Crashbox. The latter has a bit of a cult following, an educational, unique, and interesting show that used to be on HBO Family. Happily Ever After showcases classic stories in different cultures. Like Goldilocks set in Jamaica. Famous stars like Raven have done the show

What really gets me- is the park did a retheme of Fantasyland (10 years ago) and they put the Dumbo in a circus area with games and so on. Not a once did they think to include characters from the TV show- despite it being the perfect opportunity for those characters to be included.

The episode about Sebastian stealing the feather was actually the very first Dumbo's Circus episode I ever watched! BTW, the company that produced this show and Pooh Corner, Left-Coast Productions, also produced the video series The Mother Goose Video Treasury. Several of the puppet characters on that show were very similar to the ones featured on this show. Hal Smith even had an on-camera part on that show, as Old King Cole. I only saw two episodes when I was a kid, it was a pretty weird but cool show back in the day.
