You can dodge most all aspect missiles fine given the circumstance, but missiles with IRCCM like that are more advanced, meaning that you have a zero percent survival rate instead of like 50%.

With these early missiles especially, you have to make sure you aren't pulling any AoA. It doesn't matter if your nose is pointed at the bandit, if you're pulling 20 degrees of AoA to get your nose on, you're drifting off to the side by 20 degrees. That's why the missiles are flying off to the side because they still have that inertia flinging them off the rail.

With the aim9e's you can pull a hard turn and temporarily move outside its gimble limit to get more shots pointed towards a target, just a small fun fact for players that might end up needing to use them, its super helpful since the missile only gets like a 15g turn max and its way more reliable to just use your own momentum to aim the missile and let it do the small adjustments.

Honestly the F8U-2 is really fun to fly right now, mostly thanks to the wing rip changes. You can actually put all the performance mods on it and just fly, really only needing to tap down when you get close to blacking out, no real risk of instantly snapping your wings anymore. New favorite plane of the patch, easy.

People are generally biased against the F-5C for some reason. Probably because they see it a lot in battles. But the F-5C is a mid aircraft at best. And it takes tremendous skill to use it effectively because you only have guns to rely on, unlike some mig21 with 6 R-60s and a rocket for an engine.

Your missile at 7:40 went off course not "randomly" but because you fired it while pitching the aircraft hard. Your plane has momentum, and the missiles inherit that momentum when they detach, and if you've ever seen the classic demonstration of swinging a weight and then letting go you can see that the weight does not continue in the path of the circle (your direction of travel) but in the direction it was going when you detached with that momentum (remember, your plane is pitching up above the actual direction you are moving!)

Since there are so many weapon groups on a lot of planes nowadays at least for ground attack weapons i have switched to using seperate binds for them all, CTRL for rockets ALT+CTRL for Rocket Salvo, Space for bombs, Alt+Space for air to ground missiles, Right Alt+Space for Guided Bombs. I use X to spool and fire air to airs but I wish we had separate bindings for fox123

19:50 they cucked it counter missions also and changed them to small despite them being 2 inches wide by 3” x 5” long and apparently Geisen cut off for making something. A large counter measure is 55 mm. Which is mind-boggling because the countermeasure flare the aardvark uses is a RR 119 the literal best countermeasure that America had for its time. And a flare weighs 2 pounds.

The reason why your missiles arent "going where its pointed" like at 4:12 or 7:40 is because of plain physics. The missile is going to keep its momentum because it has nothing to rotate it anymore except for its rocket motor, which doesnt work that well cause it's a 10g pulling missile. I kinda assumed you knew that already cause you understood that missiles needed to be lead For better launches, you should both lead your missile and wait till your plane stops pulling aoa

7:42 Missiles in WT don't come off initially in the direction of your nose. They come off in the same direction of travel of the aircraft itself. So, if you're in a 2-circle with someone pulling 20 degrees of AOA in the process, and shoot when he's in your crosshair, the missile doesn't come off pointing at the target. It comes off pointing 20 degrees behind the target, and then has to make up the angular difference before pulling lead. This has been a mechanic for as many years as I can remember FR though. This plane was aight before at 10.0, but now it's the very definition of mid in every aspect. One may now even say outright bad...

That's simply a lie but go on. Mig-21Bis for exemple is now a full 1.0 br apart from the F-14A, so it can only face 4 of them at max. Can't face the F-14B at all now. The compression is helping the 9.0 -10.0 bracket by moving the 10.0 up.

i am currently playing the JA37D was BR 11.3 and before the update it was tottaly fine now its BR 12 since there are only a frew BR 12 jets like the F-4J us and UK version, tornado F.3 and mirage F1C-200 i get constanly up tier to BR 13 i have only had 1 down tier out of 40 games alot of the other BR 11.3 jets before the changes have stayed at that same br untouched most of them are premium i think if the currently BR 12 jets where BR 11.7 just like the MIG-23ML that was br 11.3 before it would be totally fine. But now its just a pain to play the new BR 12.0 and for some reson i had a frew games playing agenst F-16C's for some reson. This update i crazily broken.

I feel like the J35XS is also in a relly fu*ked place. 10.7 so its always uptiered into the SARH and Planes carrying 30+ Flares. Sure the XS can carry 9Ps (6 of them) and has a 30mm Cannon but it carries 12 counter measures with no RWR. The 9Ps are entirely Mid by that point if not lower and 120 Rounds in a weird placed cannon make the thing literally pay to lose. You are entirely closed off to playing like a Ninja to get any assortment of kills.

So everything moved up pretty much so the f104 can go to 10.0 the mig19 to 9.7 and super Sabre to 9.7 and the squadron hunter to 10.0. Then decompress the compression from 9.0 to 8.0 and it's like they made a good change

I played the f4c a lot about a year ago and like you say, the missiles mainly work on braindead people who aren't playing attention or just play it completely wrong. With regards to the aim 7d's, I have gotten 4/4 kills with these before. Sometimes everybody is just not paying attention. I usually sling them all off at the start of a match to get rid of the weight, and usually if i'm lucky I'll get a kill. They're rubbish, but it is possible to get kills.
