“Empirical: based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.” The theory for why sponsorships could alter their scores stands to reason, but what data are you referring to that would prove this to be the case- I.e. examples of Shelfside reviews that are indisputably altered by the sponsorship, with no plausible deniability that Shelfside truly believes their assessment to be correct? To empirically prove this, we’d need something to the effect of leaked audio of them saying “we’ll give the game a higher score because they sponsored us”, or maybe a script for a review with a 5/10 before a sponsorship, and the next draft being 8/10 made the day after they acquired a sponsorship. I’m not even saying youre wrong, you don’t need empirical evidence to be correct (for certain claims, empirical evidence can be next to impossible to acquire if it doesn’t exist in an accessible form), I’m just wondering what yours is here

Haha, our review system hasn't changed at all. If you're concerned about bias in sponsored videos, I totally understand though! The tentative score for this one was 4/10 (below average), so it certainly isn't an inflated score. And yes my torso is still alive! -Ashton
