Liberty's transformation was always the most shocking to me. She went from an awkward little know it all with a 4.0 GPA and braces to a beautiful young woman who went through the loss of a child and a guy she loved so much. She changed so much not only through physical appearance but also through her emotional journey. I miss the original Degrassi cast; but the memories are some I will not soon forget.

Argiris Karras (Riley) isn't gay is real life; he's married to a woman (and was married towards the end of his time on Degrassi), and they have a child together, born a 3 years ago (give or take "x" months). He, much like Shannon Kook-Chun (Zane; and who has played other gay characters), is just very comfortable with his sexuality (like all actors should be) and has no problem playing a gay character.
