It sounds to me like they saved the concept Cassie (Manny) read and applied to to Sav and Alli. Also Lauren's (Paige) reading insinuated that she was #2 to Ashley. That's interesting. I never saw their friendship dynamic like that. It's almost like she was reading for Hazel. Why was the script the same for the character's Ashley and Terri? I noticed the scripts were the same for Toby and JT as well. Also, Sarah IMHO was a more convincing Manny, which is weird because this read through for Manny isn't accurate to the character. Neither of them played that character they read. I almost wish they had committed to Ashley having a food disorder. I believed what she was saying more than I believed Christina's (Terri) same read through. I wish they would've dived into Spinner's ADHD line a bit more.

Like the actress who played adam orginally read for a character named zoe who was suppose to be lesbian. That “zoe” character was used later scrapped and used in next class and they made the actress adam.
